I've traveling in Vietnam for a few months, especially around Haiphong area. The only casino in Vietnam is located in Do San beach near Haiphong. There are four or five mini - hotels near the casino, all with about five or six girls. The rooms are large and comfortable, and girls go for about 200,000 dong (20 USD) per hour. On the whole these girls are nice and actually kind of homely. They don't do anals, but will gladly engage in oral and regular sex.

I have recently (spring 2002) visited mainly Vietnam and found that it is very good. Before I have been many times to Thailand, but I have to say that the girls of Vietnam is much prettier than Thaigirls. Anyway, it is rather expencive to take a girl back to a hotel, and it is never allowed to take her to your hotellroom either. You have to take a new room for the lady in your name. There are short time hotellrooms available easily, so that sholdn´t be a problem. Alltogether it is quite expencive though, around 30-60 dollars.

Viet girls are prettier than Thai? That's the first time I have heard that. There are pretty Viet girls but there are much less of them. They usually have bad skin and/or light complected. If you like the Chinese look, you will like Viet girls. The region is Southeast Asia but Viet girls look more like girls from the far east. There are some lookers, but Thai is known for having some of the most beautiful women in the world whereas, Viet girls are not known for this...there is a reason for that.

Blazers, now I'm not saying Daniel Elsberg, of Pentagon Papers fame, is an expert but his two first observations when he arrived in Vietnam during the war there was: These are the prettiest girls in the world and the place has the unmistakable aroma of shit. hahahah I live in the Bay Area and some Vietnamese here are very hot looking. It's a matter of taste and your right, the VN ladies have much more of Chinese look but IMO they are more exotic looking than the Chinese. Some Thais are very exotic looking but not most. If I get my scanner working again, I'll scan a few photos from a beauty contest held during TET a couple of years back. In Cambodia, the Cambodian men favor the VN women for sex, they say, VN women, #1. From my experience in that country that's true, just two trips there though. I've been to some Thai festivals where the dancers were extremely beautiful. I'll bet almost any region or nationality or race of women has 10's, wouldn't you basically agree?

If you like the traditional Asian look with almond-shpaed eyes, fair complexion and moon-shaped face..then Viet girls are for you. Thai women look like the world's gene pool thrown into a blender...part latina, part filipina and a touch of indian...There is a reason why most of the models from Asia are Thai and not Vietnamese.

I recently returned from a short trip to Hanoi, Vietnam - and let me tell you, I met some of the most beautiful fun-loving girls as I have ever met. A friend of mine who had been living there took me around to the usual places. This included Apocalypse Now - an old favorite that has been the home to retired karaoke girls in Hanoi for over 5 years. The girls here tend to be on the older side, but are experienced and ready to take you home for the evening for prices anywhere from $20-50. Sometimes, if you have spent time with them, they will even go for free. The action starts after 10pm and goes until 2am.

Another place to pick up regular girls and mingle with the working crowd is New Century club. This is a loud disco with thumping, particularly bad techno music. Young girls abound here and can be picked up from the dance floor with a smile and some eye flirting. The girls who are dancing are not dancing girls - they are either just some of Hanoi's partying young or karaoke girls with the night out. With some finesse, these girls will come hime with you for nothing and will provide you some very sweet loving. The one night I was there, I met a university student who took me back to the house she shared with three other girls. She had her own room, and as I quickly discovered she was very experienced, and very horny. She was very good at giving head and very clearly enjoyed it. Once we got going, she took control. There are over two hundred girls who work there, and well over half of them are knock outs. Slight, tender bodies with beautiful skin and sweet faces. This place is definitely on the expensive side. However, Mamasan brings 10-15 girls a round for you to inspect and choose from. It was hard for met to choose just one - and I went through rour rounds of girls before picking one, since the choice got harder and harder. The girl I got was tall and slender with amazing breasts. Her evening gown was transparent, so seeing her underwear was a real turn on. Taking a girl upstairs to the one of the rooms runs about $50-75 for the whole night with a $25 room charge on top. I did not go for this option as my friend was adept at inviting the girls out to eat after they finished work at 1am. We ended up meeting up with the two girls we sat with and took them to eat in an area called Cam Chi. Afterwards, we invited them both to my friends house and had our ways with them.

I ended up meeting up with the two girls I had met the first night on my last night there. The model was absolutely gorgeous. Because I had hooked up with her friend already, she considered me off limits being her friend's "boyfriend." I was sad to leave Hanoi the next afternoon, but I am definitely coming back soon.

My comments on Thai vs. VN. VN girls I've met in California can be amazing but the incredibly intersting thing about Thai women is their appearance can run the gamat from looking very Chinese to very "Cambodian." The reason for this is that Thailand, poor as it is, is the best economy in the region and many Indo-Chinese come to BKK to live and work. If you've ever been on the BKK skytrain the sheer number of extraordinarly beautiful women and variety of their looks is a mindfucker. I was struck by the differences in appearance. It is not like Hispanic girls who can be very attractive but whose appearance is generally not terribly dissimilar.

I am thinking of visiting Vietnam (for the first time) in October or November I have about 8 to 10 days for the trip any suggestions on how I could optimize both my touring and mongering time would be great. it is tough to get a room that allows guests overnight. at the bong sen, guests are allowed until 10pm. i stayed at the linh hotel, about a block from the bong sen, several times and the guest policy was different each time. seems like it depends on who is working the front desk.

saigon is your best bet for the ladies. might want to book 3-4 nights there and then take one of the ladies you meet/like to your next destination.
have the lady call the hotel where you are headed to confirm their guest policy, if you choose to travel with the lady. might be okay if check in together, might have to pay a fee, might have to book two rooms, etc...

my favorite lady bars are on mac thi buoi, one is cali and i forget the name of the other one (thien loc or something like that) but it is a few doors down from cali and is on the corner of mac thi buoi and hai ba trung. they open around 2pm and the majority of the girls are on site by 4pm. other lady bars don't get going until about 7pm.

i assume you are wondering about the rainy season. i was in saigon for a few days in sept 07. don't recall much rain during the day but i do remember rain at night. i think i remember reading that the rainy season in vietnam is more moderate than thailand's, if that is any help.

i did not know about the online service. i've been through the airport several times in the last nine months and there was always a big crowd at the "visa on arrival" desk. i wondered how so many people could be getting one upon arrival instead of before they left their home country. Now i know. given the crowds i've seen, you might be in for an hour wait, or more, using the online/upon arrival route. if you are impatient like me, especially after a long flight, you might want to consider getting it done in advance of arrival.

cheap way to see the country by land: Open Tour bus offered by many bus companies. about 27usd from HCMC to Hanoi (or vice versa) w/ stops in Mui Ne, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Hue. Tickets also sold in point-to-point segments in above cities.
