After midnight in Soi Nana is certainly rocking again. Angels Disco continue to do a busy trade on a nightly basis, and so does the new trendy club Sin. Sin is located inside Raja Hotel car park and both the club and the rooftop beer garden are doing a very brisk trade. To enter Sin club there is a door entrance fee of 200 baht but this does include a drink of your choice. There is a top DJ from London and the place has a pulsating beat to it. For those that like the trendy club scene this is a refreshing addition to Soi Nana.

SIN CLUB - currently closing at around 6.00am which is great for those that love partying late. Packed full with a good mixture of women. Some are go-go girls, some are freelancers and others are just partying, Q-Bar trendy types. Wicked Willy pulled three girls from here and had a "wicked" time! THREE babes? Where does that guy get his energy from?

Khun Mor, WW is as you well know a fit young man. He really takes his training and dancing seriously, which is very admirable. I think he needs all this training to keep his strength up for all of his babes. Yep it's certainly NOT due to British weather! Gees more like sexual frustration from living in a dark and distant land!

Just back to the "dark land" after nearly three months working in S.E Asia. Not nice to come home to the wet, windy and cold weather. Had a strange last day trying to say goodbye to three very demanding GF's without overlapping was a nightmare and I nearly, very nearly got caught.

Scraped by in the end and ended up with a great night stating at "The Bed" on Soi 11, then saying goodbye to everyone at AW, and finally off to my new fav. disco in BKK ... SIN, the subject here.

This place is really happening, there was some real talent there on Wed. night, both in terms of dancing and beauty. I saw some awesome bodies and I mean awesome, but you need to move fast to catch them, there is competition for sure. Had a fantastic time dancing to the very early hours, but unfortunately had a dud takeaway who was a huge disappointment compared to my previous visit. Oh well, GF number 3 was waiting in my bed and was very greacious at me turning up at 6.30 am. Meant I did not get any sleep as my flight was at 9.30am, but who cares!

SIN is definetely recommended.

KM, sorry no photos, the girls set about me pretty much as soon as we went through the door. Had more than my hands full keeping them happy, let alone take any photos. I hopefully have the number of one who said she could arrange for more girls who liked to party as well, hope it was not lost in my frantic packing.

Had a bad experience here. Some big mouthed Thai girl was shouting out (VERY LOUD) that if we wanted to talk to the Boss we should call him. 9"You know him then call him!") I mean really aggressively! Great customer care huh! They are even charging BG's 200 baht entrance, (mean attitude towards working girls), they're taking the piss and they think they are THE top spot in BKK. Even the manager was very stroppy (total idiots!), but they are THE only place open late in Soi Nana. Went inside three times and saw a lot of posers, mostly men and I'm not into men! Getting a bit big for their boots. Drinks are 180 baht which makes Nana Plaza look REAL cheap, must be paying off the police a rather large amount to have to charge that! OK for a late drink but the attitude of the management sucks!

Same old story, a place gets popular and then they start to take BIG liberties. Keep saying they are the best but they are THE ONLY place open late on Soi Nana. Get too arrogant and somebody might pull the plug on their party. Wicked Willy, this place started off so good but EGO is a bad "SIN" which could be their downfall!

This place was shut down by the police a couple weeks ago (see my posting today in the After Hours Discussion group). Ostensibly for drug use, but no word on when or whether it will reopen.

Yeah, my girlfriend was out of town for a couple days, so my buddy and I started hitting the afterhours places after I closed my bar. In a three day stretch, last week, we were out until after the sun rose, twice. Sin was closed both times, and it wasn't all that late, maybe 2-2:30 AM. Angels Disco was closed one of two nights. Josephine Disco on soi 1 was open, and fairly crowded, the one night we stopped in. The crowd was a bit strange, though, featuring a fair number of Farang and Indian couples and more than a few obviously gay Thai males. Penny Black on soi Cowboy was also open the night we dropped in. A fair few farang couples in there, as well. The best afterhours places we hit were the street bars on Sukhumvit. One night we drank on the street on soi 13 until about 8:30 am. By the way, what a freakshow after about 5...

What is on soi 13?
I stayed on soi 11 and there were not anything out but a bunch of trash.

I'm not claiming that you're going to find great looking women there...au contraire. What I'm claiming is that, as of two or three weeks ago, there were slapped together streetside bars that were open so late that guys in suits were passing me (on their way to work) as I stumbled home. If you're looking to hook up at that hour (and you aren't particularly choosy--think the aged, the insane, the facially scarred) it's certainly available. My point was that (much to my surprise) Sin was closed and tiny places with next to no facilities or ambience were still open and doing good business.

The After Hours scene in Bangkok changes very rapidly. Most of these clubs don't stay open very long becaue they are operating illegally and are dependent on keeping a VERY low profile, and/or paying off local police. Ceenotes, it's ironic that you mentioned that you were on Soi 11 and it was dead. I think it was maybe a few days before your post, my TGF took me with some of her friends to an after hours place on Soi 11, just down the street a short walk from the Ambassador Hotel before Sukhumvit. I've walked down that street many times and never seen anything there late at night, but our taxi stopped in front of a dark store front, where a Thai man with a flashlight directed us into a dark store front, where another man with a flashlight directed us upstairs. After carefully turning a corner (all led by our "ushers"), we walked into a very busy club with a DJ, music, bar, lights, and a good crowd. I have no idea if it's still there, and I'm not even sure if I'd have seen it if I had walked by it on my own, but word does seem to get around among the thai ladies where these places are. Although I have never tried this approach, I suspect you might be able to get a friendly late night taxi driver to direct you to a new late night club as well, especially if you tip him well. The only question, is whether you'd want to walk into a place like that alone, without someone you are with you know and trust reassuring you that it's safe?

Soi 11 does host a late night venue and as far as I know it is safe as houses. Q Bar does not open late but another establishment on Soi 11 does stay open very late.

Definitely agree that the place I went to on Soi 11 was safe, but it would have been a bit unnerving if the ladies I was with had not been so confident about walking into the dark storefront, and I didn't know and trust them so well. Don't think QBar would ever risk their license to stay open late, they do too much business. As it is, they seem to get shut down every once in awhile when the cops go in and do drug tests on customers, as do other upscale venues on rare occasion.

Q-bar is a great place but I could not funnel out the pro's. Of course at the bar their were a few dark skin girls given me the look, but I compare them with girls at NP. I did talk to two good looking girls on seperate occasions and one claims to be in the lumber exporting business. I ask if any new WTO laws are imposing to her business and she looked clueless. Anyway, called both of them up the next day but never set anything up. Other thai girls had pretty good english and chasing the brits around the club.

Drug test on customers? are we talking thai's only?
Soi 11, I walked that street a few times coming back from NP with my BF and it was a little dead. Only girls hanging on the streets and the reason they're on the streets is because their not to good looking.

They piss test everyone if you're positive you're screwed - Thai or farang . They also demand to see your passport- not copy but passport . If you cannot produce it you go to the Police station until someone brings it there. Can be a huge hassle. Q Bar has been hit 3 times now - Bed once I know of . Not recently though. They must piss off some real important dude in a Brown uni .

In all of these places, the in house security often knows when the police are coming. I know that from experience, as one of the places I do frequent on a regular basis, I've gotten to know one of the security guys quite well, and periodically has given a call or sms to my thai gf not to come in that night. It's not so much an issue because I don't use, but it's just a pain because it's disruptive, even to non-drug using customers. Who wants to stand around waiting their turn to give a piss sample even if they know they are clean?

For those of you who are fans of this place, it was open again as of last Friday. It seemed pretty low key for a Friday night, maybe because I was there a bit early or maybe because word hadn't gotten around that it was open yet.

Bahtmans found a new favorite, been hanging out at the Sin Disco. Was there til 5am this morning if you can believe it. Some hot babes to be had there and its open air, you're on the third floor, got a nice breeze as you look out over the nana soi four area and every type of girl Bangkok has is there. Lots of great food and music and pro pool tables. Heres a sweet sample I took home a couple of nights ago.

Songkran is fast approaching in Bkk and Pattaya and with the World Cup just around the corner there is a lot of excitement in Thailand and it seems to have brought out some great talent. Im still hanging at Sin Disco and it never seems to close. I guess you gotta know who to pay off and they sure do. It reminds me of Mystic Disco that used to be open on soi 33. You could always find the hottest girls there and now word is getting out that this place is open late and rocking and its pulling them in. Another Sinful babe from last night………….

Bahtman, keep your passport with you when you go to the Sin Club. The local gendarme seem to enjoy coming through and shutting the place down from time to time. Having said that, the last couple times I've been there, I've definitely seen some nice talent. Unfortunately, I was with my TGF so I couldn't partake, despite all the smiles that got cast my way!
