In my opinion the Grand Dame of hotels in Hongkong, is not on the
island but overlooking the Island on the Salisbury Road,Kowloon. Near the
Star Ferry.

http://fasttrack.hongkong.peninsula.com It is really luxurious and
worth every pence/dime if you can write it off or expense-account
it. The Felix bar is on the top. The drinks are expensive and the view
breathtaking. If you visit the bar (Which I think you must even if you
are not staying in the hotel), do check out the bathroom. Breathtaking
view while relieving yourself.

Given the steady stream of celebs. staying at the hotel, security is
discreet and fussy. Past month they had a special going for 1950HKD, and like many hotels are hurting post 9/11
