Pics I got from Roselle at Central Park. I haven't seen the hotel yet myself, so caveat emptor:

Stayed here in February. Very solicitous staff, good service, relatively new decor. No pool or Internet.
Nicely situated between Field bars and Perimeter bars, so no need to run the gauntlet with every new barfine. Close to market & 7/11.
The noise from all-night karaoke was a problem on the Perimeter side, but when I complained was promptly moved to a room on the other side.

About the best I can say for this hotel is it's centrally located between the Fields and Perimeter bars - diagonally across the street from Checkpoint, and a 5 min walk from Kokomos. And the rooms do look reasonably nice when you first step into them - the pic above is accurate.
But my first room was infested with mosquitos and ants. I know I killed at least 25+ mosquitos during my stay. Strangely, the mosquitos only seemed to bite pinays <g>. The ants, on the other hand, didn't have such discriminating tastes. Fortunately they mostly stuck to their little trail around the chair moulding, and rarely ventured onto the bed. The shower has a little instant-hot-water thing, which sounds good, but it has so little water flow that it took forever to rinse the soap off.
They eventually moved me to another room which didn't have mosquitos or (many) ants. But it had its own share of issues - the aircon made the whole room smell like oil, some of the lights didn't work, the hot water thingy had a mind of its own and took forever to come on.
And then of course I was on the 4th floor. And no one in AC knows what an elevator is. But a little exercise is a good thing, so I was ok with that. As Porker pointed out, the stairwell was at least air conditioned.
My overall assessment - the place is liveable if no better alternatives are available, but it won't be at the top of my list. Now if their cute little daytime receptionist provided personal services, that might be different...
