East Asia Hotel
Rua da Madeira 1
922433
Many taxi drivers do not speak English and even if they do, may not be familiar with the English name of "East Asia". So print the card out or grab one from the front desk and keep it with you.
This hotel is not going to wow anyone, but I think it's a great deal for the budget concious.
Location is excellent if you are interested in the lower priced options of Macau. This hotel is on the west side with Ruby just around the corner, Forsun a block away, and London a few blocks in walking distance. Lisboa and the nearby freelancers and saunas are walkable or an inexpensive cab ride. For Darling you'll want to take a cab.
Price was 270 MOP/HKD or $35 USD per night after all fees and taxes.
The room was nothing special, but fully functional, large enough, and guest friendly.

I liked this hotel better when it was a brothel :-) Too bad they had to turn it into a regular hotel, but, as noted, it probably is a good place for the budget conscious.
