Ooops no entry for this Kota Institution. TC's is a good place for late afternoon action as it fills up with young freelancers to supplement the usual stock of house girls. Weekdays its best from four to seven pm and there is crappy live music. However, if you are in Jakarta on the weekend they play loud techno music and the action starts earlier around 2 PM. On the weekend the number of girls and talent level goes through the roof. An absolute must hit on Sunday afternoon. If you like young skinny no-butt having cuties, this is the best place to currently to find them in Jakarta IMHO.

On site ST is usually 200K + 50K tip. And you can often book long time for 500K. One last thing as famous as it is for its selection it equally notorious for being very dark. I find it best to get a seat at one of the two booths at the front. These booths are opposite the hallway to the bathrooms and ST rooms, less noisy and more light here - relatively speaking.

Lots of cute girls here as reported. I found out the hard way that the girls all leave around midnight, but the band and bar was open 'till about 1am.

I guess the word got out that the seats by the bathroom are the places to sit as they were usually occupied. The seats by the bar has a bit of lighting.

The mamasans are assertive about bringing girls to you as soon as you sit down, but it's kind of funny, because it's so dark, you barely make out the basic shape of the gal and can't see her face. Interestingly, the girls seemed to be so acclimated to the dark that they seemed to be able to see you ok and to swiftly move about in the pitch dark cave-like lighting. I picked up on Socrates' idea of taking a strong penlight into this place or taking a lighter to check out the gals when they bring them to you.

I spent a lot more time than usual at TC's this past trip. However, the legions of Western gentleman is starting to arrive here, and they are all hanging out in my favorite seats near the entrance to the hallway which leads to the bathrooms and short time rooms. Typically there are just one or two other white faces, but on a Saturday I saw about ten other white faces in there.

Never the less, TC's is still a very dark place that requires some patience to search out the diamonds. But it's worth the effort IMHO. You can find lots of hotties and good service girls is a wide spectrum of looks with a lot of emphasis on the skinny spinner no but having types.

TC's is funny in that the best selection of girls is available from 4-7. I must say I have that TC's has become a bit of a tradition as the place I go for my Boom Voyage on my last afternoon. Like many of our favorite Kota joints, the girls have a favorite spot where the hang out. The territory surrounding our current favorite seats is dominated by a couple of freelancers and one mamasans girls. Granted you get great walk by traffic sitting, but if you move to a different area the selection becomes instantly fresh again. Of course you still have to struggle to see that talent in the near pitch balck darkness.

The Sixth floor of the Melawai hotel definitely offers fantastic service. They also have some big racks on display however the girls are little bit older and the look standards are not up to kota standards. Also, the place is close to My Bar but its a 5-10 minute walk across the large bus station. No chance of running into the Blok M freelancers when visiting this place.

When at TC's, try to get the table next to the hallway to the bathrooms. There is a light there that allows a better view of the beauties..and, most of them come and go at some point so there is a steady parade.

Leave it to Mx to know not only the best places to go but the best places to sit when you get there!......

One downside to that is that girls work in areas... so if you sit there, you usually get pounced on by the same group of 6-7 and/or the mamasan. This place is YMMV. I've had "Total Cunt" experiences here as well as GFEs here. Plenty of gals each time I go, but still way too dark. Cost is 250K now for ST. Cover charge is 30K weekdays and higher on weekends. Gets packed on weekends.

TC's opens at 2pm and closes at 2am. Gals less likely to go LT as many gals here are "baru" -- fresh off the bus.

Saw a bule agree to pay 400 which probably didn't include the 100k room fee, and was out of there in 30'. TC's has either freelancers (few) or in-house gals. The freelancers U pay 100 for room, plus 300-400 (I saw crazy Bules do this), and the housegals are 250 all inclusive. Freelancers were not all that much hotter either.

According to a local source who is a regular at TC's, the heavy police raids that took place in early December cleared out the mamasans for the time-being (new police chief drumming up some media coverage). All the girls inside TC's are currently freelancers, so it is up to you to negotiate directly with the girl.

TC's charges a flat rate of 100K for the room. Prices for the girls vary, mostly in the 200K to 300K range. I am surprised to see Soc getting girls for 100K. Good job.

The local source believes this will last for 3-6 months, and then we will see the reappearance of the mama-sans and a return to the system in place prior to the raids.

Interestingly, I was there just before the raids in early December (it was pretty good action). A mamasan pointed out a group of locals sipping beer in the dark who are supposedly cops. She was complaining about how they were asking for more lunch money. Guess the cops will now get more lunch money.
