i have heard its not easy geting girls into hotels in saigon.. is that true?
any recomendations from old timers here?

you cannot take girls inside hotels
But inside a good hotel theres massage rooms that do extras
If you pick up a girl from the street, she will take you to a hotel thats guest friendly

a quick note from vietnam... i have found most girls know where to take you for hotels and most hotels allow girls in before 10pm... otherwise you pay and check into a new room with your girl! law is you can check in with her but you cant pick up... go figuer!!

i saw a bunch of hotels on what i'd call the wrong side of nguyen hue. the duxton was one. i think the riverside (maybe two riversides, a renaissance riverside and then the old riverside). seems like the better part of town is on the dong khoi side of nguyen hue.

i saw the new world on my taxi ride to the horse racing track. that seems too far from what i thought was a damn nice spot. the caravelle, sheraton, and bong sen are all on or adjacent to dong khoi. the majestic is on dong khoi by the river. not sure about guests in any of these expect bong sen (have until 10pm).

also i saw the palace. think that was on dong khoi. had a pretty nice looking lobby.

my recommendation would be to book a room for a night or two at a hotel very near dong khoi. then, you can find a hotel in the same area that will allow guests overnight for the balance of your visit. dong khoi and dong du are both nice, tree lined streets with new looking shops and restaurants. really like the area.
