Visions - hot funny chica
During my vacation in Manila over New Year weekend, 2006, there was one highlight I enjoyed. It was at the Visions club.
Visions is located on Roxas Blvd., south of Buen Dia (also Gil Puyat) street by about 30 yards. On the other side of Buen Dia street on the corner is the Net World Hotel. The club is located on the second floor. It is next to a restaurant that advertises singing waiters although I never saw or heard any waiter singing. Its hours are 7 pm - 3 am, probably seven days per week like all the other clubs in Manila that caters to foreign men. A beer cost 120 pesos and a bar fine cost 1,000 pesos.
Since my last visit there about a year ago, the club has re-modeled a little, adding more lights, replacing the bar that fronted the stage with a dance floor, and putting in a new section of sofas to the right. It looked better.
However, the club only had 20 girls earlier in the evening, according to the mama-san, and when I got there about midnight on a Friday night, there were only 10 girls available and I was the only customer. As a consequence, the mama-san hovered over me, several girls stood around a few feet away waiting for me to select one or more, and the three girls on stage kept trying to entice me with their undulating bodies. None of the girls turned me on, although a few looked serviceable.
One tall girl (maybe 6 feet in high heels) was dancing by herself in a side area. The mama-san motioned her to move to the dance floor in front of the stage. She did. The music was a hot Latin number. So, the tall girl did a mock-Chiquita dance, shaking her hips and torso. With her extra long sleek legs on a tall lean frame and mischievous pixy face, she looked both hot and comical. She had me and all the girls in the club laughing. Having visited a few strip clubs in the USA and gotten into the routine of tipping dollar bills to the dancer, I went over to the tall dancer and tip her one of my larger peso bills. I recommend seeing her if you want to see a raw talent. Now that I think about her, I would not mind having her long legs wrapped around my love handles.
Caution. As I exited the club, a tout approached me on the street and tried to induce me to visit Athena, which is a nearby KTV that overcharges non-Filipinos. When I declined, he suggested Victory Hill. After I shook my head and looked around for a taxi, he pulled out a bunch of business cards for other KTVs, such as Anniversity and Sunshine. I said no thanks and he offered to bring me a college girl if I would wait five minutes. Since I had serious doubts that he could produce a girl in five minutes, I stood on the curb and motioned at taxicabs driving by. He waved at a parked taxicab in front of Visions.
The taxicab driver drove his parked vehicle over to me standing on the curb on Buen Dia and honked at me several times. I got in his taxi, said Ermita, and asked him to turn on his meter. The driver started his vehicle in motion and asked me how much I would pay him. I yelled at him to let me out. He asked again how much I would pay. I yelled, let me out. He stopped his taxicab and I got out. Within three minutes, I got another taxicab that was driving by and the driver turned on his meter without hesitation. About one out of five taxicab drivers in Manila, and all drivers who have been parked waiting for a passenger, have played this meterless driving trick on me.
Visions used to have up to 40 or 50 girls a few years ago, when Chaos, another club located on the other side of the Net World Hotel, was opened. Of course, its number of girls might have been diminished temporarily for the holidays. But, that tall girl doing the mock-Latin shimmy dance was worth the visit to see.
Keep on mowing.

I went to Victory Hill a couple times and never really could get a handle on the place. One thing I figured out quickly was that I'd have considerably less dough coming out than I did going in. Basically it's a foreigner clip joint. Hot babes, surely available for takeout, but at what price? I was afraid to ask...

I was quoted 7,000 pesos for a Victory Hills girl. All KTV's/strip shows are rip offs in my book. Why get teased when you could go to a place like L.A. Cafe and get a girl for the cheap?

Visions closed about 2006.
I happened to visit it during its final week or during its last two weeks. At about 9 pm, I was the only customer. A bad sign. There was no notice that it was going to close.
The club did irritate me with its aggressive mama-sans and several women who wanted to give a back massage to earn a tip. Hardly had a chance to sip a quiet beer. But, it did have a few hot girls that I still fondly recall.
A KTV replaced it. The former club's interior was completely ripped out. In no way, could a former Visions customer see any sign of the old Visions.
I heard that the girls went to work at the Edsa International Entertainment Complex.
Gone, but not forgotten.
