Review: Strawberry Club, Hong Kong, August 2002
Disco-type establishment, chock full of working girls, 90% Thais, some Cambodians and Vietnamese thrown in for variety. Ranges in quality from 3-8 with the rare 9 thrown in. ATTN: The room is quite dark. Care is recommended to avoid nasty surprises in quality. Prices: <ÇÊ$1000 (1US$=7.75HK$). Haggling necessary (they all start at 1500 or 2000). If you do your homework, (ie, work the room a bit) you can pick up a hard worker that will do anything to please you. Extra cups of coffee obviously included.
Always be safe -- condoms are de rigeur.

Strawberry club is nice. I usually pick up my gal at La Bamba as the gals tend to gather a little earlier there (say 11 to 12) than they do at Strawberry (1-2). Then, I proceed to Strawberry for drinks and dancing before heading to my hotel w/gal for the night.
Your pricing is consistent with what I've experienced in La Bamba - $1,000HK to $2,000HK.
I'm going back to HK mid-November and will report back with the latest.

I missed this club on my recent HK visit as it's outside of the 2-3 block radius that all of the other clubs seem to be in. I didn't see any people enter the times I walked by, but I've read other positive comments on this place. If anyone has recent experience here, please post.
