i am taking a risk and bringing a girl over for a short time maybe 6 months back to australia.

i want to get her thai passport and help her get into a english course so she has something to do while here.

has anyone any experience on what is needed to be done to get a thai girl her travel documents?

any other advise is appriciated as well.

Do not know about Australia but it is hard as hell to get a Thai girl a tourist visa to US. She has to own a business , have a ton of money in the bank , or have a rich influencial family to ensure she will return to Thailand and not skip out on her tourist visa.

Every Thai restaurant in US is staffed by Thai's who came over here on a tourist visa and never returned. That includes my ex GF who now works under the radar in a Thai owned travel agency. overstaying her visa by about 5 years ! The Thai comminity even has a name for those who are here illegally -- " Robin Hoods " . Steal from the rich - give to the poor I guess is the derivation of the term. hehe

However , they have basically ruined it for their fellow countrymen that try to follow since the expectation now is that anyone from Thailand is likely to abuse a tourist visa unless they can prove otherwise.
