Hey Everybody, I am traveling for the first time in the Philippines and am heading down south to General Santos and the surrounding area. Does anyone have any insight to these areas in regards to fun, lodging, & general advice?

Roby, I've never been there, but have heard General Santos is a pretty rough and dirty place. Which also means it may be a great place for mongering. Hope you take time to post some good info.
