I know that we all have opinions regarding which MP, bars and Go-Go joints to go to in order to find either the best or prettiest "providers." But I've got an original question for you experts out there - at which hotel bars, non-gogo bars and discos can one find the best upscale ladies on the make i.e., not the streetwalkers and go-go slag but the 8's 9's and 10's who are a bit classier?

I realize the cost is double and that there's so much talent out there that some might say "why chase them?", but I'd still like to know.

Is it Spasso? Q's? Hard Rock? What do you guys have to say about a) where they can be found and b) what their going rate is nowadays? (My last BKK trip was 4 yrs ago)

Spassos is over rated . Q bar, Hard Rock and Bed Supper Club are not really p4p pickup bars. You can get lucky and find a stunner who may leave with you if you speak Thai or are a find yourself but forget it 9 out of 10 times.

CM2 Concept disco in basement of Novotel Hotel is perhaps the best hunting ground for the upper echelon girl who is out hunting herself. I have not personally been to Sin Club on Soi Nana but I hear it has it's share of hot pooying as well. Rate should be about the same as NEP -- 2 -3K at MOST for LT is what I would give them.

I've been to Sin. It is an extremely attractive venue. The rooftop bar/restaurant is top-notch. Unfortunately, the only time I was there was with my team in the pool league...meaning we were there fairly early and in the presence of our best player i.e. my girlfriend. The night I was there, I really didn't see any stunning ladies hanging about. But, again, we were out of there before midnight. Given the standard of the venue, I wouldn't be suprised to find some top-notch talent there, at times. It's certainly worth further exploration...

The interesting thing about these "upscale" locations is that I think they are actually easier to pick up freebies than other venues. I've never had any luck picking up freebies in Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy or Patpong, which are hardcore commercial districts, but I have picked up freebies from Q Bar, Concept CM2 and the disco in the Sheraton, another upscale venue. I think these places tend to have more women who (delusionally) do not consider themselves sex workers, and if they make a connection with you, they may actually consider going for free. Now I will admit, that in two of the three cases, I actually did take out the ladies shopping (which was perhaps their plan all along, so they didn't feel they were "selling it"), but in those cases, I could have easily left prior to the shopping experience (and in fact, did, in one case, but came back later) without protest from the girl.

I've had freebies out of soi 33, as well, as has a good friend of mine. Neither of us is rich and, in fact, he's a short financial step up from a backpacker. If the girls dig you, it's certainly possible. Nana/Cowboy/Patpong? I guess in theory it's possible, but it's pretty darned unlikely...at least the first time. I've been offered a freebie in NaNa by a girl I'd taken before, but to just show up and get the first one free? That'd be a hell of an accomplishment.
