Heading off to AC in a few weeks, and having a hard time finding accurate maps. The best I've seen so far is Wayne's map at:

I've copy/pasted a few Google satellite maps of Fields Ave area to make a map that gives you an idea of the scale of things.

The last thing you need is s map of AC. You can walk from one end of the Perimeter bars ( Nifty's, Rio)to the other end of the Field's bars (Blue Nile)in about 15 minutes walking at a slow pace.

You cannot get lost there unless you leave the bar area which few first time poriners do. No reason to .

Shouldn't you be glued to the exchange rate ticker looking for a .02 fluctuation in the Real?

What I notice from the photo is how clean and organized everything looks. And we all know what it really looks like. No wonder Bush and Company screwed up in Iraq.

Aside from fields ave. and perimeter, what does the rest of AC look like. Where are the locals bars?

Hey glad you are thinking about AC !!! If you can hang in TJ, you will be kewl in AC. The main bars are close togeather. Roads are not as nice in AC than TJ, but the atmosphere is similar.

As far as what the rest of the immediate are looks like; I suggest Ironeagle's TR's. Also, Blazers Guide on AC is right on!
