I stayed at the Ambassador hotel on soi 11 just off sumhkavit road. This hotel is not as impressive in looks as it is convenient for its location. It is walking distance to Nana plaza and Clinton plaza and I found it to be guest friendly.

Had the misfortune of staying at this hell-hole. Do not go there! Touristy (kids running around at night), old furnishings, and ornery service.

I checked it out the rooms looked a bit old. Didn't stay there. The only thing going for it is the convenient location and relatively cheap price.

I've stayed here twice now. The rooms are very nice but its perfectly located between Nana and Soi Cowboy. You can walk to either in a few minutes. They have a swimming pool and cable with movie channels. What more do you need. If your into high buget then maybe a suite will be ok for you. I've only stayed in the low buget rooms but they were fine for me. Also there is no problem bringing girls to your room. There is a lot of tourist there with kids but no different then other hotels i've been in Thailand. I don't know why the place has such a bad rap. I think the hotel is fine and you can't beat the location and cost. The cheap rooms are like $28 per night.

Stay away from this place! I stayed here and now when you approach the elevators with a girl, they will confront you and ask you to pay 650 baht upfront! See ISG for similiar experiences!!!!
