$4000?

I have no idea. Lets say I was planning to stay for one or two weeks and stay in pretty modest hotels. Also I would use taxis as my main mode of transportation.

Last November 2 weeks in BKK and Pataya was $1180 R/T air and $2000 spending money. Could have done it for less, flew EVA Evergreen Delux, stayed at the Dynasty in both BKK and Pataya, ate very well and was not a cheep charley. Hope this helps.

Depends on how much you plan to party. I could stay in Pattaya for $30/night hotel + next to nothing to eat from street vendors. But add in gogos (drinks for me and the ladies), barfines and tips and I can easily burn through $150-200 per day.
