Does anyone have any advice on soapies in BKK? I've been to Poseidon before, and was satisfied (one of the best on trip, as far as girl's looks go), but the price is a little expensive I think.

Can't make it to Pattaya, so I'm limited to BKK.

Anyone have any ideas?

I definitely plan to checkout Tulips, but was under the impression that they only do oil stuff...I definitely can get with that too, but a soapie would be a continuation of my short tradition of soapies the first day I arrive (only happened once).

But I'll look at Teens. What are the prices there like nowadays. I haven't been on a mongering trip in nearly three years. Last summer I got my lovin' for free. But I had a month to set it up. Now I only have 5 days.

Sniper, as for my price range, I guess everything is a little more expensive for me b/c I don't have a paying job anymore (student). But I did remember that Poseidon did seem a little bit on the expensive side.

I guess that anything cheaper than Poseidon would be nice. But if the quality of girls is that much lower, then I guess I should just suck it up and head to Poseidon.

BKK Teen is also an oil or lotion massage place not a soapie. 800 baht for 2 hour massage -- 1500 baht extra to the girl for the " special massage". i.e. everything else that you would expect.

Soapies are getting harder to find in BKK. I'm not sure why, but a lot of parlors have phased it out. On my most recent trip, it was only on the menu at one or two places I hit, and none of the girls who did it were my type. It's a shame, as I really love a good slip and slide.

I didn't make it to Chao Phraya II this last time, but I'd be willing to bet they still do it. Probably a few places on lower Petchaburi Road, such as Cupidy, Harem, etc. also still offer it. You just need to be aware of all the ridiculous taxi surcharge scams at these joints. Cupidy used to be one of my favorite places, but I haven't stepped foot in there since 2004 after dealing with all the scam crap.

I think it's a sign of the times that the thing that Bangkok is perhaps MOST famous for - the soapie- is in danger of extinction. I think the beginning of the end was the scandal involving Chuwit and the enormous story of Police corruption involved in his day to day operation. The handwriting was on the wall at that point. Toxin and his "Social Order" campaign freaks could not allow these places to continue to do business as usual. Friggin shame. I just hope it's not the first domino in cascade.

I still "Rak Muang Thai dee tee soot"(love Thailand the best) in spite of my present infatuation with AC.

Its crazy that the "social order" campaign would kill my beloved soapies first.

I keep hearing about the great soapies in Pattaya, but I don't really have the time to go.

I guess that means I'm probably going to Poseidon again. But if I'm spending that money first, I'll have to save money later (freelancers or something).

Either way, I always liked the GFE, but if I'm getting a massage (traditional, soapie, oil, etc) I always appreciate a cutie that knows what she's doing.

Try Chao Phraya II first before you go back to Poseidon. It's much cheaper and they most likely still offer the service.

One thing to keep in mind at CP2 is most of the girls are in a section reserved for those who do not give the slip and slide massage. Make sure you ask which section has the girls who do the massage (often stocked with somewhat less attractive girls, at least based on my most recent experience there).

Murasaki: Yes, I know Thip was in that section, but I suspect she is long gone.

Poseidon generally does have the most attractive lineup, particularly in the upstairs VIP model section. It is quite pricey, though, and quality of service can vary radically. I've never actually seen a girl on the soapie side of any massage parlor that I found particularly attractive. The experience sounds like something worth trying, but I'm the kind of guy that always wants to go with the hottest woman in the place...and I've never been in a massage parlor where that woman was available for soapies. Having said that, admittedly, I don't get out to massage parlors very often, as I prefer actually meeting and chatting with someone before pulling the trigger.

Tip was indeed in that section, bless her little heart. She has long since retired and lives down in Krabi now. I will remember that girl till the day I die. Giving me anal sex on the soapie matress with both of us all soaped up was the absolute cat's meow.

Murasaki: I've said it before but I'm going to repeat myself. The experience with Thip came the closest to Brazil sex as any experience I have had in Asia. For me she may have been TOO wild as sometimes happens in Brazil.

I write this because I still think you should try a Brazil trip one of these days, notwithstanding that it has gotten a bit expensive. And no, they don't all have bubble butts (which for some reason I remember you don't like) although many do.

Mano: Although I usually haven't taken advantage of this opportunity, I have noticed that at least at some of the massage parlors, you can ask to talk to the girl before committing. The girls are called from the fishbowl and spend some time doing the interview. I can't say it is the norm, but I have seen this on occassion (specifically, I remember it happening at Merilee; my memory is not clear about others). Granted, there are probably limits to how long you can do the interview for.

Ahhh Tip I remember her fondly too, she indeed was a little gem, I met her before she was known on the board and every time I saw her mentioned here I had wished I had broken the rules and gone with her more more than two times ... fond memories!

A lot of them have died out because of over charging, personally i would avoid them.
