I am headed to BKK in early November and would appreciate any information on how, if in any way, anthing has changed in the P4P scene since the coop.
Thank you.

Absolutely NOTHING has changed.... well except now some of the locals are much more willing to badmouth the former Prime Minister.
Come to Thailand and have a great time!

Literally nothing at all has changed. My bar was open well past 1 am on the very day of the coup. I've seen a grand total of two soldiers on Sukhumvit, since then. I've noticed no change whatsoever at any of the major farang bar areas...and I've visited them all since the coup. I think Patpong closed early on the night of the coup, but other than that I've heard no reports of the coup effecting anything. And I can tell you that Nana, Patpong and Cowboy are the same today as they were the day before the tanks rolled in to town.
Manos.

Manos goor to hear but ----
What we are all hoping for is that they will NOT remain the same . I hope they drift back to the days when conduct was quite a bit more loose within the bars and owners did not have to worry about the girls showing what their Momma gave them.

It's getting there. Cowboy and Nana have been consistently closing at 2 am. I haven't had any hassle from the police in months. My bar has closed as late as 10 am, recently. Patpong still seems to close around 1, though. As to showing, a ton of bars in Cowboy show. In Nana, I can think of a handful of bars that have topless stages or naked or topless shows. Things have definitely loosened up since I moved here two January's ago. Having said that, it could all change for the better or worse, tomorrow.
Manos.

Sojouner, Mano ponderosa, Khun mor:
Esteemed Gentlemen:
You have caused my day to be a good one not only from what you have related but by your graciousness in replying.
Many Thanks, Ranblinon.

No problem, Ranblinon. If you have any other questions, this forum is as good a place to start as any. Take care, brother, and, rest assured, if things take a turn for the worse, I'll honestly report that, as well. No one was more worried when the coup news broke than me. I have a business in Bangkok which provides my sole means of support. I have money in a Thai bank account. I was more than a little worried when I heard about the coup. Thankfully, none of those worries have turned out to be justified.
