I want to take a girl to a island on the 23td thru the 25th of Dec. Can I book this in BKK when I arive on Dec. 16th.
I am looking at these island choices;Ko Samet, Ko Chang, Ko samui, and Ko Phi Phi and will want to leave out of Pattaya if I can.
1 Witch are the better choices?
2 How far by bus or train?
3 How much for air and can I fly out of Pattaya?
I would like a island with some activity but yet has some layed back beaches.

Leaving out of Pattaya leaves you with Koh Samet. No night life to speak of there.
No airport in Pattaya . It would be a long bus ride to Trat - then on to Koh Chang. Again no night life. The other two islands require air travel.
Phi Phi is off the coast of Phuket or Krabi. Koh Samui has it's own airport and would fit your plans best - just not out of Pattaya.
Book your travel in either BKK or Pattaya. Thousands of travel agencies shop around.

I can't wait to get there I have been dreaming about it every night.
Will I have a problem getting Air & hotel for Christmas if I wait till Dec. 17th on Koh Samui or Koh Phi Phi? Do you know what the air far is?
How long of A bus ride is it to Where I can pick up a boat to Koh Samet?
What is nicer Koh Phi Phi or Koh Samui?

The closest port to get to Koh Samet is Rayong - about 1 hour bus ride from Pattaya if I remember correctly.
Not much on Koh Phi Phi especially since the tsunami. I would go to Koh Samui definitely.

Does Koh Samet compare to Kho Samui? It would be a lot easier to get to. If I go to Ko Samui I was thinking of flying and takeing a girl. Do you have any idea how much the air is?

Samet is basically just beaches. At least the last time I was there it had zero nightlife or other attractions.
Samui is a much better destination and also has a bar scene so you do not really need to BYOG unless it's what you want to do.
No other way to get to samui than flying. Too far for a boat.Airfare from BKK is usually 2K to 3K baht round trip. Certainly not expensive.
