No Joiner fee but they sometimes take girls I.D

i'd be careful about booking this hotel until the construction next door is close to complete. i've stayed here before and like the food in the restaurant. also close to fitness one (in A one hotel). stayed at baboona recently (beach road/soi 3) and the construction going on at BJ was very loud. i had a sea view room at baboona and could hear the noise a little bit at my place.

I just returned from a 11 day stay at BJ Lodge. The construction next door is still in progress but the noise was acceptable. The rooms have a queen size bed, view of the pool and a small safe(safety deposit box are also available at the front desk)

Location is very good. 100 meters to Beach rd. and 10 meters to the left is a currency exchange with ATM. Second rd. is about 350 to 400 meters and across the street is Big C. The walk passes by 4 MP's One is a real traditional Thai massage. (highly recommend)A dental office is located just above it(clean and polish your teeth for 700 baht. Dentist speaks english and shes kinda cute)and a small beer bar complex.

BJ Lodge is American owned and operated. The staff speak English some are fluent. Any questions problems or issues can be handled by the staff there or BJ himself. This is a BIG plus for me since I speak no Thai. They can also help with booking of any tours at the front desk.

Food is really good with reasonable prices. Even the Thai girls liked the food. Open 0700 to 0000 hrs. Both American and Thai food are served.

They also offer airport pick up for 1200 baht plus toll. It's so nice to have a ride waiting for ya.
