Does anyone know if the Plaza Athenee at 2 Wireless is guest friendly?

When I stayed there recently, there was no problem bringing a girl up. No joiner's fee either. If a girl arrived there when I was in the room, they had her leave her id. at the front desk (the elevators require a room key so it is not possible for a girl to get to your room without first going to the front desk); if I came back with a girl I just brought her up to the room.
