Located across Makati Av. from City Gardens. Not recommended. The building is old, and you can see cracks in the walls. The A/C turns off automatically when you leave the room, so you are guaranteed to get back into a hot sauna. Room service was horrible - no towels, no shampoo - had to be reminded twice before they were brought in. Also, plenty of green salamander-looking things running up and down the room walls...
Overall quality is less than Sogo, for a much greater price.

What do you have against the green salamanders? They're an integral part of the whole P.I. experience :-)

Those green things give a whole new meaning to the word "three-some".
One positive thing about the hotel that I forgot to mention, is that they have some kind of famous massage place on-premises. I was in the lobby, and several asian men (non-guests) came in asking for the massage. I have a feeling that swedish techniques are NOT what made that place famous... but I didn't partake!
Another detail: there is lots of indian/arabic music being blasted in the hallways, and if you listen really well, you could hear some in the room. I like that kind of music, so for me it was OK, and when it wasn't I drowned it out with my own speakers that I brought in.
