Footloose, hope you'll make a report and include photos, I'd be very much interested what you find there. As for me, I took a train through Malaysia and there are plenty of Indians around, but more so Malays. Except for the 20 minutes stop in KL at the train station and the overnight stay in Butterworth, I have no recommendations. KL looked like a huge city viewed from the train station several miles away, Butterworth wasn't much. The trains were nicer than the Thai trains though, that I can say.

If you check out the trip report I did back in January, you can get a little info on KL. Penang is supposedly pretty boring, but I do not have first hand experience. Prices are high compared to Thailand.

Footloose, did you find the Indian girls?
By Winks on Thursday, October 31, 2002 - 10:02 am: Edit |
Hi!
I'm an Indian and my work allows me to travel extensively to South East Asia. Being Single and of prime age helps me to enjoy my self to the fullest on most of these trips. My most visited country is Malaysia. Malaysia although not quite as Thailand when it comes to 'sex trade' but it doesnt dissapoint me ever. Infact, inspite of being a muslim country, the chinese dominatation makes sure that there are enough avenues to 'take care' of you. Most of my stay is in a small island city of Penang. The best place to visit for some action is the Penang road area, Its got some massage parlor which offer complete services. There is this place which is camouflaged as a gymnasium and health centre. I don't remember the name but its quite close to 'Citi' hotel. The place offers a good range. The price goes about 25-40$ depending upon various factors.
In KL, the capital city, the only place I hang about is this pub cum disc called "beach Cafe" on the road straight from the towers.. jalan raja or sumthing. You can spot many loner girls.. you can buy one of em a drink and pick her up for the night after settling the necesities. Just behind the place if Bukit Bintang area where you can find a lot of bars and massage parlors.
Escort Services are also expletively advertised in the Yellow Pages.
Hope the info is usefull to future visitors

Winks,
By "Indian" do you mean Native American or do you mean extreme southeastern Pakistan?
Also, a very white friend of mine (from Denmark, of all places) told me about two years ago that Malaysia and other westPac places were getting a little too hot to do business in. Any comment?

Took a day trip to Johor Bahru (mispelled) from Singapore with my Thai GF and the following information might help you.
GETTING THERE: Took the Johor Express bus near Arab quarter area. Cost about 4Sing$ if I remember correctly. Trip takes about 25 minutes until you are left to go through immigration to leave Singapore. Hustle off the bus because they will not wait long for you. Once through immig., you head downstairs to wait for express bus. The bus does not have to be the same driver and you can use the same ticket. A short trip accross the bridge will take you to the Malaysia point of entry. Remember that Thai people do not need visas ahead of time so you can take your tiruk on a moments notice without hassle.
LOCAL TRANSPORT: There are many independant taxi drivers that you can hire for the day for about 30-40 Sing$. Most everything here is purchased with Singapore dollars. Good to hire a taxi as he can take you to several of the historic sites in Johor.
GIRL SCENE: Once my girl went to the restroom, I started drilling the taxi driver about the local scene and he recommended several massage places in the Chinese section of town near a large mall. Malay girls are very attractive and the girls whom have the Malay/Chinese mix are beautiful. The Muslim influence keeps the trade at a minimum but one could get busy if you asked around enough.
GETTING BACK: Remember to purchase your return express ticket before you cross immigration or you are screwed. These dumbass' dont sell the tickets on the Singapore side...luckily, the line guy went and purchased my ticket for me by wallking back and forth accross the border (something I could have not done).
OVERALL: Might be a good side trip to take your girl as there are a ton of shopping malls that are cheaper than Singapore but for girls you probably want to take the bus to KL. I also felt a little uncomfortable with the mammoth Muslim presence but thats' just my terrorist paranoia kicking in (more on that in my Indonesia trip report).

I have heard from that there is actually quite a lot of action in Johor Bahru (can't really misspell it, since the official spelling does not use our alphabet) and at lower prices than in Singapore, but I did not spend enough time there to find out first hand.

and this is what I heard from a Singaporean man: it's a dangerous area, S'ing men who have gone there have been robbed in broad daylight. The sex is cheaper there than in S'pore, so that's the temptation. The same thing said about the Batam Island scene.
I agree, the Malay women are beautiful!

I went to Batam and the people there told me I was nuts.
I was in KL a few times(one time for a week and a half)and the sex scene isn't better then Singapore. In fact since it is Illegal in KL it isn't as straight forward as Singapore. And it isn't really cheaper. Nice city though.

Kuala Lumpar is a brilliant city for escort, bar, club, restaurant, or hotels. The taxi's are perfect guides to the best escorts and cleanest establishments. For 10 - 20 RM (5.5RM to the £) it is very cheap as well. Bars are good but can be crowded by too many PRO's walking the beat. Try and find a local bar/pub for peace of mind and to chat up the local girl's/guys.
Hotels are pretty much cheap going and most hotels turn a blind eye to late night romps with the escorts variety.
There is also a lot to choose from. Many escorts are from the main land and Taiwan.

Don't be so kiasu and kiasi guys...
been around thailand, malaysia, and indonesia and nothing happened so far...
JB is notorious for charging more cuz they know that SINGs will be visiting them. If you truly want great looking chinese and/or malay girls, check out the ipoh scene. They are more "Kampung" and definitely very very very sweet and tight... *grin*

Roman Spa, 7th Floor
Eden Garden Hotel, Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Komplek Bebas Cukai
88 Jalan Ibrahim Sultan
Hours: 1.00 pm - 12.00 am
This is a massage palour located in a 4-star hotel on the 7th Floor. It is arguably Johor Bahru's most classy & popular massage palour, as the girls are known to be very pretty here. To get there, just get a cab and say Eden Garden Hotel. It just takes around 10 mins to get from the Johor Bahru immigration point to the hotel, if you have crossed over from Singapore. The hotel faces the sea.
At any one time, this place would have around 50 girls. For those who are new to Malaysia's massage palour scene, they do not have a fish tank like Macau or Thailand for you to choose your girls. However, you will be able to direct your requests with the 'managers', who will try their best to match your requirements.
So 1st thing when you arrive, you will be asked to choose the packages: massage only (Malaysian Ringitt $98 ~ US$28) or full package (RM$248 ~ US$69). Full package is what you usually want.
You will be invited to use their bathing facilities, jacuzzi and sauna, after depositing your valuables in a locker. You can take as long as you want to enjoy these facilities: no time limit.
After that, you can dress in robes and have a free snack at their cafe. They would have a small buffet table with local delicacies and beverages. You would need to pay for beer. During your meal, you will likely be approached by the manager for your requests. Happy requesting!
The full session will be around 1 hour. COndoms will be provided.
P.S. Try to arrive around 3 pm onwards to get the full range of choice.

Kota Kinabalu anybody? Looking for a relaxing beach side trip from AC. Seeing $200 packages for 2 people, 2 nights on airasia.com out of Clark.
Also, do philipinas need any special paperwork?
By Porker on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 - 06:18 pm: Edit |
As mentioned in the other thread, a passport for many Filipinas is indeed quite 'special' paperwork. It's not even so much that they have to have some official ID to get one (that for many is difficult to acquire and often easiest to FAKE), but also that apparently if they don't use an expensive service to process the paperwork for them, they have to stand in lines for hours upon hours waiting to get to see some government lackey responsible for intake of the paperwork. If she doesn't have a passport already, it's likely to assume that she thinks it to be a monumental task to get one.
Of course the GOOD (???) news is that after she's gotten her passport, she'll probably think getting a fiancee visa is not just a pipedream!

On my last day in Georgetown on my way to the bus station, sighted several SGs at 6am on Lebuh Chuila, west of Love Lane near chinatown. As i walked by them each one greeted me & bowed to me oriental-style...
Food in Penang very good & 1/3 Singapore prices.
One of best things about Kuala Lumpur is Air Asia, regularly has promo fares for little as us$3-10 (excl. taxes & fees)
