Pick up bar i quite a large establishment with several bars. Friendly girls who are more than willing to join you to view the paintings in your hotel room. The bar will probably charge a minimal bar fine (200 pesos) and then it's up to you to negotiate with the girl. This place is different from the "Rip off bars" you'll find in Makati, the girls are friendlier and less professional, but take care - always bring and use your rubber. P200 sounds more like a cover charge than a bar fine. I've read bar fine ranges from 900-1000 in Pasay Bars. Any current info would be appreciated.

Firehouse is the third bar from the right when you enter the right side entrance of the EDSA entertainment complex. Standard barfine in all 8 bars is 1000 pesos as far as I know. Unlike Angeles, the bar fine does not include the price of the girl which you will need to negotiate with her.

Firehouse was the only place where the a girl I was interested in didn't start off the negotiations with "up to you". I was talking to a cute blond named Gina who told me the standard price, and hers, was 2500 pesos. After paying 1500 the night before, I was a bit put off by it. She was cute with a great body, but she also had braces that seemed to big. She looked fine when she smiled, but I think she was uncomfortable with them and kept her mouth closed most of the time. The braces seemed big or something because she looked like she had tobacco behind top and bottom lips.

Hmmm...I thought this place had some of the best talent. I was most interested in a girl name Lela that I couldn't bag because some guy barfined her for something like three nights, or at least that was what she said.

I was really going for Lela, which is another reason I passed on Gina. There was also another girl but I forgot her name.

Also, another thing I liked about Firehouse was that the girls on stage seemed more interested in dancing than all of the other places. They had a few routines that I saw.

They also have a small area in between some bar tables and stools which they use as a small dance floor.

The Firehouse's slide into oblivion continues. As always they have a stage full of girls (20+) in bikinis dancing. In a country where almost everyone has a perpetual smile on their face it's hard to find 20 more miserable looking girls. Unlike Bangkok where most girls look like they're having the time of their lives these girls look the opposite. You can almost feel them sucking the life force out of your body. The MTV videos are far more entertaining.

Lots of GRO's. Not as pushy as some of the bars in P Burgos, Makati when it comes to pandering for drinks.

My advice - Hit some of the local strip bars. They are usually pretty seedy, dark, dirty and without aircon but the girls strip off all the way and drinks are 1/3 the price. As a taxi driver or get a cyclo driver to take you.

D'Artignan....That "braces" thing is a farce. They are slip on's to make the girls look wealthy, as braces are very expensive in the RP. You should have asked her to slip them off and put them in her pocket book! I ran into that in A/C.

Having spent 3 days in Pasay across from EDSA, I'd like to nominate The Firehouse as the best of the bars in the complex. Very nice girls and lots of talent. Not as much "buy a girl a drink" pressure as the other bars. I hooked up with two girls here. $1,000 peso BF and $2,000 to $3,000 to take each of them out for LT. I ended up dating one of the girls for the past 2 days. She came up to my room at the Copacabana at noon and spent time going out with me and dating me. No charge. I would hit all the other bars in the EDSA complex to see them all and hit this one last.

Best and biggest lineup as of 4-07. Packed out and lots of cuties. Most customers of any of the EDSA Bars.
