Southern China Trip Guide

I have been working the Southern part of China for over two years and spend ½ my time there. China isn’t like what you think. The Southern part of China near Hong Kong is much freer than people realize. Very beautiful women are available. I have been very fortunate to have the company of these beautiful women about as often as I want. Here’s a quick breakdown of where:

Saunas – Most large hotels have a sauna in the lower level. Here you can get a massage with “extra services”. You go into the sauna, they greet you and ask you what you want. Many men go often to the Sauna just to relax so if you want something special you have to tell them. I have never been to a Sauna in China where extras were not available. The better Saunas have private rooms with a shower. The price for the room is around 400 RMB. Plus you must tip the girl 200 to 700 depending on the special service and the class of the hotel. You do this in the room after the 1-hour session. Prices vary. Last time I did this A beautiful girl with large boobs came in and immediately peeled her clothes off took me in the shower, washed me and jumped me. She didn’t mention a price.

Karoke Bars – Sing songs, drink and play games. You will want to go with a few male friends. You pick out a girl from the line up and she will sit with you and keep you company. Some girls speak English but not many. Actually, many will say they do just to be chosen. If you must have a girl that speaks English then ask the Mama and give the girl a test. I used to ask “How old are you?” If they can answer they know enough. How much talking do you want to do anyway?
Some girls will go back to the hotel with you some won’t. Usually the Mama can get you a girl that will go back to your hotel if you ask. Cost for this is 1000 RMb for all night at 5 star hotels and 400 short time at lower class places. This should be negotiated up front. You need to speak Mandarin or have a friend who does to work this out.

Discos – Discos are extremely popular with Chinese girls. You can go and hang out and often pick up girls. Mandarin skills are needed.

Barber shops – There are two kinds of barbershops. Basically some shops will offer extra services in the shop itself. Usually the girls at these places don’t wear a uniform. I have never done this so I can’t say exactly how this would work. Second type is one where the girls wear uniforms. You can get a shampoo ( 1 hr for 10 –25 RMB) or a massage with clothes on. Then you can negotiate to take the girl out. These girls are so poor they will sometimes quit their job to go somewhere with a foreigner. This is a real GF experience which is one of the things that make China so great.

Street girls – This is hit or miss depending on local police enforcement. Often young inexperienced girls from the countryside will hang out near hotels frequented by foreigners and approach you as you are walking along. 250 to 500 RMB ( about $30 – 60) is about average for short time. If you speak Mandarin you can get a better deal. They are usually fresh and very clean. Often two girls will work together and try to get you to take both for a discounted price. I tried this once in Dong Guan, Zhongshan and didn’t like it. Too distracting. Last time in Zhongshan I picked up a street girl she asked for 300 RMB ( $35) so I didn’t even negotiate.

China – How to get there. Fly to Hong Kong and take a train or ferry to the border. You need a visa to enter China, but not Hong Kong. Go to Hong Kong and go to a travel agent to get you a visa. They can usually get one in less than one day.

Language – Hong Kong is Cantonese and English. You don’t need Chinese there but as you get into Shenzhen or Dong Guan English isn’t spoken. Travel with someone who speaks Chinese the first time or two.

Money – RMB (reminbee) The China currency is usually convertible at four or five star hotels. Except for at these big hotels credit cards are useless. Bring new $100 bills and exchange for RMB at your hotel. Hong Kong currency can also be converted. The largest bill available in RMB is a 100 note. Since this is worth a little over $11 if you convert a lot of money you will have a huge unmanageable pile of bills ( you will feel rich though!)

I’ll try to write more about China and answer any questions. But it is awesome!

This is true by many accounts. Necessary
language skills can be picked up in two weeks
(I also carry a little book with common phrases).
Two little things you must beware: don't drink
the water and always practice safe sex. Even if
you do practice safe sex, after sampling a few
girls you are bound to catch something (not
aids, God forbid), but something requiring a
few days on anti-biotics. Luckily, chinese
doctors are as cheap as the girls. But as to the
selection, in my opinion, the best in the world.
Girls come young and of legal age, with fantastic
smiles and bodies, and very warm attitude. I
usually spend 1-2 days just picking, and then
settle on one, and then spend a week or so
with her. Less risky, cheaper, and real gfe.

Has no one been to China lately? I'm planning a trip this summer. (Hey, there'll be no tourists around with the SARS scare!) So, I could sure use some more tips.

DickJohnson is an expert on mongering in Southern China. Inbox him with some questions. I've been nagging him to put together a trip report.

I will be in Beijing for a few days, then off to Xi'an to see the Temple of Heaven. From there I go to Chongqing to head down the Yangtze river and see the gorges. After that, it's back to Beijing and home.

Yeah, I realize it's not exactly a girl-filled vacation, but I really do want to see a bit of China (and the gorges before they become lakes).

While I'm quite eager to do a bit of cheonging, I may have to set aside Southern China for when I decide to pursue Vietnam.

If you have any tips at all, I'd sure appreciate it!

I live in Chengdu, the capitol of the Sichuan province and southwest China. I've been here for two months; if anyone has any questions, ask away. Anyone have any direct experience in this city?

Isn't this hobby still illegal in China, with really tough penalties?
