this is the hotel that allows guests overnight. need to leave their id card at the desk. it is at 16 mac thi buoi, same block as cali and thien loc. recently renovated. sat tv, free internet in room. three rooms per floor. the front one has two beds (i think double) with a balcony and is good size. the middle one is really small, one big bed. the one off the back is a typical size room. pricing is $50 for the big, $35 for the typical, and $28 for the small. i think the desk lady even said something about breakfast but i'm not sure. seems like a pretty small place to offer any real breakfast. i think only 5 floors.
there were probably five other hotels on this street and my gal from cali said they are the same deal. allow guests.
i got a card for this hotel and it says the website is linhhotel.com but that doesn't seem to work. email is supposedly linhhotel@hcm.vnn.vn
trust me, the hotel is there and it is nice as of a few days ago. if this one is booked up, just move on down the block.

i stayed here on my recent visit to sgn. booked via the email address above. the guest policy is not quite what was described when i first viewed the rooms (previous visit). i was told then that the ladies were allowed to stay all night, etc....
the first two nights i was there, i took a girl back about 2am in the morning. no problem. just leave the id card at the desk. the next couple nights i came in around 8pm and the girl was told she needed to leave by midnight. i'd already planned for them to leave so not a big deal. not really sure what the exact policy is (didn't ask for clarification).
i paid $52/nt for the larger room that looks out over a vacant lot to the river. room has a balcony and a nice view. stayed one night in the medium size room in the back of the hotel ($40/nt). small balcony, view over roof tops, very quiet.
they have seven or so items on their breakfast menu. one selection (plus beverage choice) is free with the room and you can eat in the lobby or in your room. basic stuff though.
place seemed popular. i needed to extend my stay and no room available at last minute.

current policy here is guests must leave by midnight. so get your girl early so you can have plenty of time in the room.
