What are the challenges, do and dont of buying viagra in Pattaya, BKK, Angeles, and Cebu

The challenge in AC is avoiding the morons on the street who push it into your face every ten steps trying to sell it. Buy it at a pharmacy . Too many counterfeits around.

The counterfeit stuff generally works though and the price is right.

Definately fake dick meds at the pharmacies in AC as well, even the chains. Trust me, I can tell the difference when taking Cialis.

So what do you suggest? ie take your supply with you?

I've bought the counterfeit stuff from the street punks in AC. It is indeed counterfeit. Made in China I am sure. However just as the pirated CD's generally play. The counterfeit pills do contain the active ingredient. At least the one's that I have tried. There is not incentive for counterfeiters to produce "fake" Viagra because they can buy sildenafil by the kilo for next to nothing in China and it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out how to press it into functional tablets. I'd guess it is harder to make the box and blister packs than it is to make functional counterfeit Viagra. Then again some idiot in China may be using some blue lead based paint to color them but god knows what goes on in San Miguel brewery or in the slaughterhouse where a Mo's burger comes from. It's a safe enough risk for me. I've been paying 150 pisos a 4 pack in AC. Don't know if that is a good price or a bad price. Counterfeit stuff works for me and is way cheaper than the real stuff.

In Bangkok on Pattaya it's usually pretty easy to find "Kamagra" or one of the other Indian brands. It under the counter and illegal in Thailand but if you ask a few pharmacy's for generic you will find it. IIRC I was paying ~200 Baht a 4 pack which strikes me as a little high but that's what I had to pay. If anyone can't find it in Pattaya PM me and I'll tell you where always has Kamagra as well as other under the counter stuff that is of interest to some folks.

I actually prefer the Indian brands to the real deal because "Pfizer Viagra" from any source in third world countries is libel to be counterfeit. It's just to easy and profitable to not happen in a corruption rich environment. Thus you never really know what you are getting although it is probably all fine anyway. But the Indian brands are not subject to counterfeiting and Indian pharmaceutical companies are regulated and at least conform to basic international standards so I figure that is better than possibly counterfeit where you don't know where it came from.

Just talk to your doc. Mine not only gave me samples of both Viagra and Cialis, he even wrote me a perscription for the recreational drugs.

Updates, anyone? I just came back from the pharma where I was staggered by the cost of boner pills ... like half the cost of a short time session! There's got to be a safe and inexpensive alternative available in Bangkok. Suggestions, please!

On my last trip I found a pharmacy in Pattaya on Second Road, just around the corner from the end of the Soi where Sandy Springs is, that sold the generic Viagra and Cialis from India at really good prices. They even gave me a bulk discount since I loaded up for a few buddies in Indonesia who placed an order.

I have yet to find a place in Bangkok that sold the stuff at similar prices, but they have to exist somewhere. But I haven't looked that much either. Probably the farther one gets from Nana the more luck one would have in getting lower prices. Just a guess.

I haven't bought it in Bangkok for years now but a few years back I drew a correlation with Chinese owned pharmacies and availability a variety of pharmaceuticals that aren't available everywhere. At that time, Chinese writing in the window seemed like an almost a surefire guarantee they could go in the back room and come out with what you asked for. Pharmacies with strictly Thai writing in the windows, I never had much luck in Bangkok.

BANGKOK
i use a pharmacy on sukumvit btwn soi 22 and 20 (closer to 22 and i think the sign says soi 22 pharmacy). i was hanging in bkk in early august for a few weeks and bought an assortment as i was meeting a buddy of mine in vietnam for some fun and then heading to cambo. wanted to make sure we had a supply.

i bought cialis for 1,700 (two pills), viagra for 1,600 (four, 100 mg pills), and kamagra for 400 (four 100 mg pills, and i believe this is the "indian generic"). the kamagra actually worked best for me so i stuck with that when i returned to BKK and stayed for the whole month of sept. the cialis was crap, it seemed effective for one day but on day two i had to do an emergency kamagra as my cock didn't seem to respond. it was like the cialis had the opposite effect on day 2. kept my cock down rather than up (i'm guessing fake cialis was sold). the viagra was no better than the kamagra and was 4 times the price. YMMV.

the kamagra pills are much softer than viagra. so you can easily break them up by hand. i was breaking them in qtrs and taking one qtr on light drinking nights and going with two qtrs on heavy drinking nights. my standard purchase is 4 pills and 3 packs of rubbers for 500thb.

by the way, this pharmacy also sells "sleeping pills" (V and X) although i didn't make my first purchase until i'd visited several times. there is another pharmacy on soi 22 a few doors in from sukumvit that also offers this stuff.

PATTAYA
i've used a pharmacy on 2nd rd in pattaya, right by the sandy springs (i stayed at the whitehouse). hang a right on second rd and pharmacy is not far down on your right side. over the course of a couple trips spanning a year, the cost of viagra went from 1,600 to 1,800, to 2,000. i took a pass at 1,800 and at 2,000. cut back my drinking instead, that kept me from needing the assistance often and my supply at 1,600 lasted longer. i hit a few other pharmacies also and seemed like 2,000 was the standard offer.

i tried the fake viagra in pattaya on a few trips back in 06 and 07 and it was not good (cost was 400thb). i had to take a full 100 mg to feel the good effects and the bad effects were doubled. so i went with the "real" viagra at 1,600.

On Second Rd, almost directly across from Alcazar and between Soi 5 & 6 is a small strip of shops. If walking from the top of Soi 6 toward Soi 2 you'll pass a small shopping center with parking, then you'll reach a small strip of shops. The first two are foot massage, the third is a pharmacy - opens at noon.

I ended up getting Kamagra 100mg here. I bought 5 packs for 1000THB (20 pills total, 100MG). I also picked up boxes of Apcalis (not sure of the spelling, just ask for generic cialis) for 800THB (4 pills/pack, 20mg).
