Evita

Located on Petchaburi Road, just to the east of the intersection with Soi Ekamai, not Soi Thong Lo as I mistakenly said in my recent trip report. It is situated directly across the road from Meree.

Evita’s prices were 1600 for girls in the bowl, and 1900 for the sideline. Interestingly, they also had happy hour pricing, which I believe was a 200 baht discount on any girl from opening time until 6 pm. I did not session here, but LAG has done so many times, so I’ll let him comment on the rooms and session quality.

I missed Murasaki's earlier post but will now get around to commenting (motivated to do so by my afternoon session there today).

The price is still 1600 for the girls in the fishbowl and 1900 for the sideline girls with a 200 baht discount on either between 1 and 6 pm. There is no farang surcharge and as best as I can tell they do not pay taxi commissions (I'm pretty sure I'm right on this). I usually throw in a 500 baht tip except when I receive bad service.


There are many uglies working at this place, but usually there are two, three or four lookers mixed in, depending on the day, time, and so forth. If you visit and are turned off by what you see, you can either get a drink and wait for awhile to see what shows up in the interim, or go across the street to Meree, which is usually priced similarly if not identically. If you don't like what you see at Meree, either check out Evita a second time, or walk a bit (maybe 10 to 15 minutes) to Bangkok Cozy.

I have been very happy with my sessions at Evita perhaps 40 percent of the time, not unhappy maybe the same, and unhappy maybe 10 to 20 percent of the time (doesn't necessarily add up to 100 percent, but it is close). Unlike places like Nateree, I have never had a girl try to give a covered blow job, and generally the girls are friendly. Also unlike at some of the soapies I get very little resistance to a second round during the two-hour session, although as best as I could tell the girl today wanted an assurance she would get a tip if we went a second round (it is hard to tell though what she was saying as it was in Thai, and I understand about two words of the language). Sometimes in the past I asked one of the papa-sans to tell the girl before I committed to a session I wanted two rounds, and that seemed to work well.

The papa sans are variable but I have never had a problem with any and sometimes they have been very helpful, as above.

Rooms are fine, not dingy like what you might find in Chinatown, but not super luxurious either. Well-placed mirrors, etc.

One thing that is kind of a kick is in addition to your normal Thai programming, there are two channels on the TVs in the session rooms corresponding to a video camera scanning the fishbowl girls and the sideline girls, respectively. I don't know if this is common in other soapies, but it is part of the programming available on "Evita TV," which unfortunately is only carried on closed circuit as best as I can tell.

Incidentally, to get to Bangkok Cozy from either Evita or Meree, you head down Petchaburi Road; using Murasaki's map as a point of reference you would go in the direction to the left. Bangkok Cozy would then be on the same side of Petchaburi as Meree. Probably easier to take a taxi as it is not a short walk although doable. Bangkok Cozy though is easy to miss as it is recessed from the street and all you see from the street (for the most part) is a relatively small sign with its name.

Oh, and I suppose I should mention that today's session fell in between the very happy and not unhappy categories, as referenced in my last post. The girl was quite attractive (looking at her gave me serious wood in a way some of us jaded folk don't always get immediately from visual stimulation), but inexperienced. Reminded me of the recent report by Bwana Dik where he described a blow job where the girl spent all her time licking the side of the shaft and wouldn't get down to the "meat" of the blowjob. Similar in this case but I don't think it was bad attitude so much as lack of experience. I didn't walk away feeling like it was a bad experience, just not great.

Hunterman, you should know better. Of course I already checked out Tulip, not one, not two, but three times. Pretty much the same as always. Wee has returned and is in fine form (with longer hair) and Fa is still around and has that same old "work ethic" that we usually only find in Brasil. So too on the list of Tulip offerings are Dao, June, and Teena, Dao being the only one of those just named I haven't had a session with. And there are many others as well. I didn't notice whether there is significant new talent so I can't direct Hunterman or anyone else to any newbies working there.

Also, Wee now goes by the name Nana. When I mentioned this must mean she likes Nana plaza so much she named herself after it, she pointed out that Nana also refers to a Skytrain stop.

The one time I went downstairs to check out the full lineup, it looked pretty good, at least by Tulip standards (for those who do not know, the main selling point at Tulip is the service; but having said that the girls are on average more attractive than let's say Eden, but less attractive on average than those at an upper-tier soapie).

And as an addendum to my earlier posts here, I suspect the happy hour pricing only applies to weekdays. But at risk of developing the Stockholm syndrome during my period of captivity, I probably will put this to a test this afternoon (i.e., today being Saturday in Thailand).

Today I was told Happy Hour at Evita is 1 to 8 pm weekdays and 1 to 6 pm weekends. But the papa san who told me this does not exactly have a B.A. in English. So, consider this semi-reliable: probably true but not guaranteed.

I almost walked out of the place today--Saturday--based on an overabundance of uglies. However, I decided to take my own advice, see above, and waited perhaps 15 minutes after which a couple of cuties did show up. I spotted one who looked like it was her first day, which it turned out it was. On the positive she did have that newbie cuteness about her; on the negative she didn't know what she was doing, which was compounded by the fact she knew almost no English. But all and all, I'm not complaining.
