Guest Friendly Hotels...
I am off to Beijing this fall for a week and wonder if anyone has any tips on guest friendly hotels there? Any information you have as to good locations and or hotels please offer up your suggestions.

Not much on Beijing as I would not recommend going there just for the p4p -- expensive, plenty of crackdowns (esp. b/c Olympics) and some scams. I'd caution never go anywhere with a tout or driver that offers to show you girls, ALWAYS ask them to bring the gals to you. Also, keep your wallet tightly on your self and watch for fake everything (boos) and fake 100rmbs (BTW: most real 100s, if you move it slightly in the light will change colors on the ink).

Grand Hyatt Beijing, which IMO is one of the nicest 5 star hotels in Beijing located in the central part of the city in the Oriental Plaza complex. Girl friendly (bellhops will offer gals) and gals hang out all over. Very nice house sauna and massage. OR(2) the Mariott Beijing West, 98 Xisanhuan Beilu, Hang Tian Bridge. 5 star, Girl friendly and lots of Westerners. Good KTV downstairs.

Alternatively, there are two Crown hotels that are girl friendly and very nice. Crown Plaza WuZhou. Supposedly 5 stars. The other Crown Plaza is in downtown on Wangfujing.

As a general rule, most, but not all, the nicer hotels will not harass your gal as long as she's not dressed like Elvira.

Please check out "Maggies" which is one of the "funnest" bars for mongering IMO. http://www.maggiesbar.com. I'd appreciate an update as I haven't been back for months.
