Background Details:

I'm currently living in South Korea and have two vacation periods this year (August 2-10 and Dec 25 - Jan 4). I have the option of adding 5 days to either vacation making it either August 2-17 or Dec 25 - Jan 11.

I'll be making one trip to Thailand (first-time) and one back home to Los Angeles (to see my folks).

So here's my question: When should I go to Thailand August or Dec/Jan? I know Dec/Jan is the prime time to go, but I drawn to spending that time back home in the States, as it is the holidays. Bear in mind, on my trip back to LA, I'll spend some time in TJ because damnit I need some Latinas.

Any advice from my fellow mongers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

There was plenty girls around when i went in Dec/Jan, just the plane fares was expensive.

In August a lot of Europeans go, so not so many girls.

August will have fewer visitors but it's for a reason. Hot as hell and rainy season. Unless you had a lot of beach time in mind that means nothing for what we go to Thailand for. I would suggest August .

Plus it closer and less time waiting.
