i think most of the members here are experienced enough to not listen to/follow the touts who talk about "shows" etc....

they've reached a new low now here in phuket. i've been out on the town with a group of guys every night this week and we trawl through the go go scene each night. none are good.

here is the worst part/warning. now, the touts follow you into the go go and claim they brought you in there. that makes your 120THB beer cost 400THB, as they get a commission.

i've been in patong many months over the last two years and this never happened before. now, happens every time i walk in. you have to stiff arm the fuckers as you enter the place and then they still go in. you sit down and they go to the bar and claim they delivered you in.

the go gos suck as it is and to have to fight the touts everytime is a real bitch. so just avoid the go gos. go to pattaya if that is what you need. stick to outdoor beer bars in patong or the discos.

I never enjoyed any of the go go bars in Phuket even back in the good old days. Boring as hell and never found much to look at. Definitely a beer bar, disco freelancer, or BYOG town.
