Me and some friends will be in AC on the 4th of July, does anyone know of any events going on the day?

Nothing mentioned on any of the PI boards yet but it's a bit early. I don't think it's any big event in the AC .

4th of July 2005 was a big deal on the streets of AC, epicenter Mo's corner, with fireworks Philippines style - in the middle of the street, only a few meters from unattended tykes.
Porker, Merlin, Hippie, Monger X were in town, no?

Somehow I wasn't thinking of fireworks Pilipino style as an event worth noting.

The way they do fireworks in the Philippines, you'd better take note if you're anywhere close by - and don't want to be visiting the nearest burn center! ![]()

That I do agree with. They just launch them from the middle of the street . It's lunacy but an event to avoid not seek out.

The event I went to last year was kinda private, but still allot of fun. They're trying to do it again, but the last I heard it wasn't looking so good. It was just a simple BBQ and pool party, btw
Plan on making my own fireworks that evening, so to speak, not really interested in seeing any...
If anyone hears anything about other events please post something.
1 way or another I'll be there on the 1st of July (spending 1 night in Manila) then AC 2-4th the traveling back to Manila for the weekend
Thanks Fellas

Why would Filipinos celebrate America's Independance from England?
Ah, "the Land that logic forgot"....sorry for asking.

It's some sort of holiday for them too, if not independence day.
Tujunga, I remember the 2K5 pool pary well. I was sweating my ass off and hadn't dropped any loads yet, so I headed to Santos, grabbed Donna and headed back to my room to cool off.
2 1/2 hrs. later the pool party was still going, and I was D R A I N E D!!!
Last year Bud and I went to a party that Pacific Breeze threw. It was seriously lame, their version of "all you can eat" was "all you can fit on ONE PLATE". Not even a nipple slippage for 'wildness'.

Yes year 2k5 pool party at Mo's was off the hook. Definitely great action to be had in the pool. I also remember a very strict no photo policy for the non-"beautiful" people.
Afterwards, some of us went to Lollipop another Mo's property. We got quite the blow job fess going on in the bar. Always funny to see the faces of horrified cherry girls watching - yes girls this your future.
After a while, Inotice MO taking photos of us getting BJ's. i asked him to stop. his respnse, " don't worry I will hide the faces before putting them on the internet." What an absolute dickhead! Do you really want to support a barowner who show no respect for customers discretion?

July 4th is a minor holiday in the Philippines: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino-American_Friendship_Day
"Filipino-American Friendship Day, July 4, is a day in the Philippines designated by President Diosdado Macapagal to commemorate the liberation of the country by joint Filipino and American forces from the Japanese occupation at the end of World War II."
So I guess you could say it's Independence Day in both countries.

July 4th is also Filipino-American Friendship day and is to commemorate their liberation from Japanese occupation afte WWII.
While stationed at Clark in the early 80's the Fil-Am Friendship, Christmas and New Years were the big fireworks days.
Those 5-Star triangle firecrackers are killer. I blew off two fingernails on a short fuse and that cured me of playing w/ fireworks.
