when is the best time to go to thailand? weather wise and especially to get the best bang for my dollar with the hotels and of course the ladies.is there a window that it is good monetarily for the traveler and i can feel somewhat in control of the negotiations..any info would be appreciated

You're at polar opposites of desire here. Best weather = big crowds & high season, which = high asking rates by the girls.

Worst weather = no crowds and low season, which = bargain time with the girls.

Best weather = November through February, with December and January seeing the peak of the crowds.

Worst weather = March through June for super hot, then heavy rains into November.

However, as the old saying goes, weather is irrelevant to what goes on behind closed doors in our hobby. There is aircon everywhere....

The whole damned place is tropical, so I sweat like a stuffed pig anytime of the year in Thailand. But true, A/C is everywhere, and I don't plan on just walking around outside for hours for the hell of it, I plan of being INSIDE with A/C and INSIDE a tight pussy or two. Outisde of Ankor Wat at 6AM, there is reason for me to be away from the A/C while in SE Asia.

If sweating while on vacation is something you enjoy, except for working out or having sex, more power to you, but I see no reason for it. Maybe that's why I like Prague after Thailand.

Thai people will tell you its busy with falangs all year around, builders choose to go in the school holidays [august] because parents dont want building work when there on holiday.

Chumslick, dont book hotels inside other hotels bacause there expensive and the rooms are not much. book a hotel for say 2 days then have a look at gusthouses good ones are cheap.

Beach road soi 6 Pattaya you can get fun for a 1000TBH

Chumslick, in big Hotels theres a tourist information desk to book up sight seeing and other Hotels, the problem here is you can only book other big Hotels that are very expensive and if you do book a cheap room in one of these Hotels than the room is not allways that good

Chumslick - I would say best bang for my dollar is Sept & Oct! Low hotels rates and the Isaan girls start to cum back into town. Late Nov, Dec, Jan ,Feb are busy, March - April 10th its Hot as Hell!
April Songkran u might want 2 forget about it)
Others have told me late May & June are a buyers market (but I have never been) July, Aug, Rain, Flood more Rain.

Good Luck

I've been to LOS 9 times 3 times in Dec once in Mar, May and twice in July and Oct. October was the best overall, in my opinion, balancing weather, crowd and bang for your buck.

i would also say oct (mid to late oct) is the best if i had to choose just one month of the year.

also like late may to mid june. but you'd have to wait until next year for that. go this oct.
