Not sure who the hot tailor is these days.
But you can view this thread for previous discussion on this topic.

An article in WSJ.com had Raja fashion's next to Nana as good tailors. With this marketing, he may charge an arm/leg.
I wouldn't pay more then $160 for a 3-piece.
I hear Max fashion is good and one of the few thai tailors in the area.

I normally get casual and safari shirts tailor made in Bangkok. Jackies on on corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 7 is good. New Royal Fashions on Sukhumvit Soi 11 on opposite side of street from Grand President and Ambassador Hotel , next to 7-11 also has made great shirts and has a wide selection of materials. I'll be back in Bangkok on Nov 2 and plan on looking for a place for dress clothes / suits.
Normally I get my white dress shirts and suits made by Star Tailors in Hong Kong at the Star House , next to Star Ferry terminal on Kowloon side. I won't be able to revisit China this year, so I'll be looking for a good place in Bangkok for lightwieght dress clothes. I really love white dress shirts made of light Egyptian cotton with hidden buttons. It's sad we have to go to ther side of world for clothes, but here in USA, the Men's Wearhouse charges over $50 for a plain white dress shirt, and it's not even tailor made.

Would recommend for consideration my tailor. The manager is Alex at Signature Custom Tailor, 2nd Floor, Room 55, Amarin Plaza, Ploenchit Road.
After exiting the BTS at Chit Lom , walk west. His bldg. is just above the McDonalds which is on the opposite side of BTS from Holiday Inn. There is a walkway from the BTS level to his floor.
Purchased 8 shirts, sports coat, shorts and 7 pants and was happy with all. Also, had him make 8 more shirts for me later and send them to me here.
Recommended by a dean of the Grad. School I attended who has had much experience with this tailor.
