i checked out the New Hotel while i was staying at the riverside hotel last week. same owner as linh hotel a few blocks away. same lady policy, allowed until midnight but no overnight.

located at 14 ho huan ngiep st which is a small side street of dong khoi very near the river. looks to be a nice quiet location. brand new, only open a few months. $35/$45/$55 for standard/superior/deluxe. about the same as linh hotel. the deluxe didn't offer much of a view (they do have views at linh) so i'd pass on that one at $55. back side rooms (superior) are probably the best value.
