I went to check out Aspen Suites in Bangkok. It is on Soi 2, a 7 minute walk from Nana plaza. Same distance as Omni Towers. Majestic Grande is 3 blocks away on the same soi. I asked to check the 1 bedroom suite (with washer) which is going for 2,999 bht on the internet. The room was clean, the TV big. Nothing to complain about. Everything is new, because Aspen was finished 6 months ago. Photos accurately represent suite. I would seriously considering staying there next time. The pool is small but ok. The restaurant looks small, I did not eat anything there. However, I never wake up in time for breakfast anyway, so that is not a problem. Same group as Compass Hospitality that runs Grand President, President Solitaire, Omni... Those hotels are guest friendly, so I suspect that Aspen would be too. Website is:
