Thanks much for the info all on the electrical situation in AC. will probably just leave it all home and go for those $1 barbershop shaves. christ, I pay $20 for that in the states. other query. I have read that in various Asian countries it is considered very "low-class" to wear t-shirts and shorts on the streets, and certainly into hooker clubs. is this so in AC? Do the hookers prefer us to wear pants and shirts, and shine up to us better if we do? I have to admit, i am basically a slob, and t-shirts and shorts and sandals are basically my permenant attire. but, when in Rome do as...so should I stock up on long pants and dress shirts no matter how hot it is down there? might have to dig out my old bar mitzvah outfit.....any info would be again much appreciated!!!

I once saw a guy walking down Fields Ave in a bra and panties. The ladies seemed quite impressed with that fellow. T-shirts, shorts and sandals seems the more common dress code in AC though. Filipina's could care less what you wear.

T-shirts and shorts are the uniform of the day. The lighter the better.

Dress code in AC?????? What a funny string of words. Here is a well kept secret: the girls like guys who wear clothing bulging with pesos. The bigger the wad(s) the better.

I have brought long sleeves shirts to AC in the past, but never wear them because (1) I feel out of place if I dress nicely there and (2) it is too freaking hot to wear anything but short sleeve shirts.

Stick to shorts/short sleeve shirts in the day. At night you can continue wearing shorts or switch in to pants.

If you wear pants, it's harder for the girls to play with you. I stick to shorts. Loose shorts.

Sorry, but I just gotta say this.... "Hooker clubs"???

Perhaps the OP is referring to an actual "club" that he uses ON the hookers. It's a flashback to the caveman days. You meet a hooker you like, crack her over the head with your "hooker club" and drag her back to the room for the evening...
