Where are the areas and place to go for P4P in Hanoi?

I will be there for the first time next week and looking for places to play.

Anyone gonna be there to join the hunt?

i'd keep your expectations low for girls in hanoi. i haven't been there but i know people who have. they didn't find any girls. so be prepared for the worst (no girls !!!).

you may happen upon a moto taxi guy who wants to take you to the ladies. i don't think he'll take you to a dark alley to rob you. but he'll probably take you somewhere with old/ugly girls. or maybe the girls are too young and don't "boom boom", really just "hostesses". it is in places like these where there is a sudden language barrier and figuring out the real facts can be difficult.

I am on another board similar to this one and they say Hanoi is running alive with the "night life" there. motop-girls[Than quang khai river on road pho phuc], brothels north of tay ho lake, good luck.

I has in Hanoi in November, didn't find anything worth wile. Asked both our driver and guide for advice landed up at a nice hostesses place and to quote Buick no "boom boom" to top off a perfect fuck up I got mugged on the way back to the hotel.

I stayed at the Splendid Star Hotel, according to the front desk it was guest friendly as long as the girls had ID's unfortunately never had the chance to check that out for myself.

Reading your piece above Isawal and to help other mongers to avoid being mugged in SE asia here`s some tips.
Have a driver that you know and trust with you most of the time, the reason for this is your driver is looking after his own interest and will not let anyone else muscle in on his ATM machine.
Make friends with the locals, they will look out for you, allso the mugger is usually amongst them and now see`s you as a friend.
Be able to talk yourself out of sticky situations, i must admit ive done this a few times.

There is P4P in Hanoi, albeit limited and pricey relative to other places in SE Asia. The best place is the nightclub at Fortuna Hotel in the old quarter.

There are many brothels around the city, behind unmarked doors. You'll need a local to help you find them.

And of course, the motorcycle girls cruise the road on the west side of the lake (old quarter), particularly the areas with less lighting.

As for safety, I walked everywhere around the old quarter at night and early am and never felt concerned for my safety. Just don't be foolish and wander around on streets with no lighting. What happened to Isawal is very rare in Vietnam, particularly with tourists. The penalties for fucking with tourists are pretty severe in VN.

I have to disagree with you about what happened to me being very rare in Vietnam from the information I received at the hotel it seemed very common, other guests in the hotel had been robbed and one of them said reporting it would be a waste of time and expensive. The hotel even had a dedicated driver who helped tourists with their police reports. When I got back home and reported the theft to my insurance company they also confirmed that they get a fair amount of claims from travellers to Hanoi.

I must admit that the South feels very different to the north in this regard.
