Now it's the Beverly Boutique Business Hotel, but the cab drivers still know it as "Eddie's."

A single room there is currently 1480 PHP. Personally I'd rather spend slightly more (1900 PHP) and stay at the Holiday Plaza. Both are bomb shelters with super-filthy windows, cheesily appointed, etc., but PI mongers are used to this.

("Cheesily": I had to make that word up.)

The one advantage that Eddie's has (in addition to the cheaper rate) is that it's an easy one-block walk to these clubs: Papillon, Planet X, and Dimples (which is very small and doesn't have a sign yet).
