I wanted to drop this short report on China. I was 200 miles outside of Shanghai in the old capital of Nanjing recently and although this country is no Thailand, if you are there on business, it does offer certain amenities. Sex is illegal but tolerated by authorities and is easily found at karaoke bars and saunas.
The image shows a typical karaoke bar. After a couple of days, I was noticing them all over town. For 100 US, you can party with a girl for a few hours. They will strip and sing. If you like one, you may be able to take her home for about 200 US/night. This is not necessarily a great deal, but the singing part is fun to try at least once.
A better deal is the sauna. I visited a cheap joint where you get 45 minutes for 20 US. It was disgusting but very cheap for sure. A very nice sauna on the edge of town was 80 US for 90 minutes, and I loved the place. The girls would even try anal, and the joint was beautiful and clean.
I had a host to translate. If you don't have one, you may want to hire somebody. It helps a great deal.
