I booked this hotel through www.asiatravel.com. It is located directly across from the US Embassy on Roxas Blvd. The rate was $45 a night including breakfast. The hotel was listed as Deluxe, but that is a lie. The hotel is two star,maybe three at best.The room was nothing special, except for the cockroaches that infested the bathroom. Lots of Chinese all around the lobby and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was atrocious. Even my girlfriend would not eat from it! With the amount of hotels in Manila, there is certainly no reason to stay in this one.

I stayed here in March 2009 and really enjoyed it. Staff are busy but polite. Free breakfast, great room service/menu. There is a pool on the top floor but it closes about 5-6 pm.
If you have a Filipino guest they give you the local rate (just ask). Rate exchange at the desk is set at 48 pesos to USD. Walking distance to Manila Bay (pass on that).
Adjacent to the hotel is a Starbuck's and another across the street. Great place to launch from after landing in Manila. Would go there again.
