I would like to know the current average rates and policies on ladies drinks if anybody knows.

I know local drinks are about 95 pesos, and girl drinks are about 150 to 250, but what is a "double ladies drinks policy" and is there any other "hidden" dangers to be wary of.

Costs vary quite a bit, and are on average less in Perimeter bars than Fields bars. Many bars offer DLDs; often if a girl orders a San Miguel Light beer, it's a DLD.

I generally skip bars that offer DLDs. The problem is few tell you in advance when a girl orders a drink that is a DLD. The deception is intended, so to hell with 'em.

You have to be on your guard in the Dollhouse group bars, and Blue Nile Group, supposedly now too. La Pasha group has them, but I don't think they push them as much.

Double ladies drinks start at p250 and I think top out at p500. Many bars that claim not to offer double LD's have a two-tier pricing for "imported drinks". They talk out of both sides of their mouth and claim these "imported drinks" are supposedly ordered only upon customer request.

Drinks to beware of off the top of my head are San Miguel Lite, Gatorade, and sometimes margaritas or Baileys.

An easy way around this is to just ask the girl when she comes over -- "Would you like a rum and coke? (or gin and tonic If she says no, take a good look and do some quick math before inviting her to hang out with you.

Had the DLD thing tried on me in Voodoo, so it's not just the DHG bars. The key word here is "tried." I smiled and said "How about a rum/coke?" Then took her back to the hotel and fucked her silly. No attitude or problems at all. If you don't act like a rube and allow the the girls to walk all over you, you should be okay.

I always specify "Single Ladies Drinks Only". Then I make a joke about being "kuripot". Never had any blowback.

DLD's are just that, get 1 pay for 2. The oppisite of 2 for 1.

There are many very hot babes in some of the DLD bars, I wouldn't aviod them because of DLD, just say no.

When did this DLD shit start? I was there last July and Blue nile, Doll house, Bedrock were my hangouts of choice, I buy a lot of drinks for different girls all night but I dont think I had any one drinking tab over 50.00 US.

The original theory was that a full bottle of San Mig Lite would take the girl twice as long to drink and get her twice as drunk, so they might as well charge double. Of course, when the bar makes so much money off of one drink, guess what drink tends to get pushed by the head pimps in charge?

A bar employee once posted on another board that his bar offered the DLD because most of the other bars on Fields did too, and that are a very large % of punters that never even look at the bills before paying them, so why not try to maximize revenue from them? These things exist because people don't know any fucking better/don't care about paying extra.

As far as voluntarily ordering your 10 dollar hooker an imported liquor, I never understood the logic behind THAT!
