For those of you traveling out of BKK, either back home or using it as a gateway for other locations, be prepared to get to the airport early. For my Philippines trip, there was over an hour delay getting through Immigrations. Getting out to return home took 45 minutes...add in delays at check-in, security, and you can easily run into a situaton of closely missing your flight. That did not happen to me, but I would suggest getting there 2 and 1/2 hours before - In the early afternoon it seems especially bad.

the cheapest is the public bus, not exactly sure of the price but i think it might be as low as 50thb. i've never taken it but i'm sure they have one that goes direct (with stops along the way).
you could take a meter taxi from DM to mo chit BTS and then transfer to the airport link train at the phaya thai BTS. not sure on your total cost here but i'd estimate 300thb.
my guess on a meter taxi the whole way is 500thb.
i got a visa extension a few months ago at the immigration offices near DM airport. when i looked into transport for the journey (going from bkk city), it seemed like alot of folks were doing the taxi/bts combo.

I have a 10 hour layover in Suvarnabhumi Airport during which I have to collect my suitcase and transfer to another Airline.
I want to leave my suitcase at the Airport and go to a MP for few hours. Does Suvarnabhumi Airport offer Luggage Storage service? Is the charge hourly or a flat fee?
Thanks!

Its been a couple of years but they always had luggage storage up one level from arrival, after you exit customs. IIRC the fee was daily but it was quite reasonable.

The official airport site says there are two locations at the airport, for 100 baht a day:

Those of 70 years old and over can go straight through the priority lane at Bangkok airport.
