Ozamis, or sometimes spelled Ozamis, (depending on who you talk to, or which signs you read) is in the northern part of Mindanao. This is clearly a Third World poverty-stricken section of the Philippines, which somewhat resembles Bacolod. The power goes out all the time and takes hours, sometimes days to restore. Lucky for me, I'm in a hotel which has a back-up generator.
It's a dirt-poor city with absolutely nothing to offer. If one is looking to venture out in the form of mongering, then it should be clearly pointed out, Angeles City it isn't!
There is absolutely nothing here in the form of prostitution, at least not that I'm aware of. There is a shipyard nearby, with a couple of small local parks, where you would assume some girls hang out in the evening. But as far as seeking prostitution, this isn't the place. There are no bars with working girls, no nightclubs, no nightlife whatsoever. It could also be due to the fact that I am not making the effort to look, seeing that I am being accompanied by a pretty girl from Mahayag, which makes venturing outside quite impossible. But there again, when the cooking is good at home, why try and eat out?

"But there again, when the cooking is good at home, why try and eat out? "
Answer: Because eating the same thing night after night gets boring. Variety is the spice of life.

yes, I agree BD, but in this case, I think I'm in love....why ruin a good thing?
Oh, BTW, I've discovered, no matter what part of the Philippines you visit, no matter what province you're in, the chances of picking up a cute girl are always very good here.
Regards, from Ozamiz City,
Master Bates.
