As of last week, the pricing was 7,000 col for 30 minutes and 14,000 for the hour. The entrance was 700, and it included a drink.

They have spruced the place up. the bar has been moved from the rear of the club to along the left hand side. The selection seems to have improved as well.
The photo above is no longer accurate, as well. The building has been painted, the travel signs (except one) are all gone, and the club 40 sign is gone too. I am sending an updated photo to admin.

RT here. The entrance to Club 40 is the door that has the aluminum on it (under the electric meters). During business hours, the door is open, and there is a doorman collecting the cover/minimum charge.

I see Gooch has been frequenting only the ultra exclusive establishments, now that the Park Hotel has closed where it was written on the men's restroom wall: "Stop me before I fuck again".

Just kidding.

Good to see Gooch in the gulch again.

Thanks Ace. I checked out of the Europa on Saturday morning last week, while you were there.

If only I had known.

If only I had known, too, about the show downstairs, I would have stayed where I was and not changed hotels.

This place is now Chica Dorada. Exterior repainted lite olive color. On Av 7 south side, between Calle Central & Calle 1. Just west of 70E, next door. Half hr 10k col., 1 hr 12k. Tel 258-6525

I looked for this place in June 2008. I couldn't find it. I think it's closed. I'd been there once or twice around 2004 or so when it was Club 40, but I'm pretty sure it's gone now.
