I'm a newbie coming to Costa Rica in mid April. Very appreciative of the information obtained in this site. Hope to spend most of my time at BM, IDEM, etc., but looking for golf opportunities. Can anyone give me recommendations? Appears Melia Cariri is not accessible unless you stay on property. Also, what other sites are a must see. Only have four days so looking for best trip possible in short period.

The Costa Rica Bar owners have a regular golf tournament every Tuesday at Parque Valle del Sol in Santa Anna. Ask Jay at the Blue Marlin or Michael at the New York Bar for details.Its a great course and usually, everybody is welcome.

Ask at the new york bar. There is los suenos in jaco and two near flamingo/tamarindo pinillia and
