Make sure you have the address before you set off to find this place, as I had difficulty finding a cab driver who knew this place by name. The name change may also complicate things as some drivers may only know one name or the other.

The bar is located on the right side of a small side street off of Via Espana. After you pass the Do It Center, look for a small street with a Internet Cafe in a blue building on the corner. After turning left down this street, you'll see an open gate (assuming you come late enough in the evening) that leads to a small parking lot and the club.

Club Fenix caters to local Panamanians. You'll need to pay a small cover to get in. Once you walk through the door, you'll see a bar on your right, a dance stage on your left, a restaurant in the back left corner, and plenty of seating.

When you walk past the bar, you'll see the back area in front of the restaurant opens up more to the right. In the near right corner behind the bar is a doorway leading to short-time rooms.

Working ladies will be scattered throughout the bar. You are unlikely to find the talent available at the strip clubs, but the price is much more economical.

It's not as busy and there are not as many ladies as La Mayor downtown, but this place is more relaxed and safer. (At La Mayor, they pat everyone down before allowing entry)

This place seems to be more commonly known as Club Capri. I may have gotten the history of the name backwards.

The rate described is also inaccurate or outdated. As a foreigner, expect to pay $36 for 20 minutes. Cover is $3 and drinks are $3 for customers, $6 for ladies.

I was impressed with the talent here on my recent visit.

I've been to Fenix Club but got pissed-off at management there.

My taxi-driver and I were there...this chica said she would fuck my driver for $30 or me for $60 (simply because I could afford to pay more).

Of all people, my cab-driver got into a heated debate defending that gringos shouldn't pay more just because they are gringos.

This chica then agreed to fuck me for something like $45 for an hour...so I said, "sure".

As I approached the back management cage the manager was arguing with this chica that she had to charge me $60 because I was a gringo. While they argued, my driver and I slipped-out the door and went to La Greta Azul where I fucked a morena for $40 plus $5 tip for one-hour...which was a great deal.

Upon entering La Greta Azul my driver told this chica that we walked-out of Fenix because management wouldn't deal...so, this La Greta Azul chica was quick to settle the deal.

It may be a while before I venture back to Fenix...they pissed me off. However, La Greta Azul...had a great time there.

I'm curious as to what part of town Gruta Azul is located. Apparently this is a popular place amongst the locals.

La Greta Azul (The Blue Goose) is located on via Espania towards or near San Fernando Hospital (from downtown via Espania from the El Panama you would travel in the direction towards the airport). Unfortunately, from downtown, via Espania is one way...so you have to loop around on side streets that go that direction.

Therefore, if you made it to Club Fenix...take a cab towards downtown via Espania...La Greta Azul will be on the right-hand side...just a few miles...maybe 5-8 minutes via cab...if even that? If I recall correctly, it is just before an overhead walking bridge and before you reach San Fernando Hospital (traveling West?). The building itself is within a walled compound...looks like shit from the outside...doesn't look like much on the inside either...but you can find morena chicas there and the fucking is typically cheaper than the Comombiana dominated MPs. Beer is cheap too, if I recall...something like $2 or less.

A side note - I wouldn't go to Fenix or La Greta Azul alone if you are a gringo, or even if there are two gringos. If you are alone, make a quasi friendship with a young cab driver (preferably one that speaks some English)...offer to pay for his beer and give him $15-$20 to hang-out with you. I've done this many times...when I walk-in the locals all turn to look at me, but when my Pan driver "rent-a-buddy" steps to my side and orders a beer for both of us...suddenly I am just another local guy. Suggest to your driver that you will give him a better tip if he helps negotiate the price for the girl down...this does work. Also, Pan taxi drivers like to do this because it boosts their ego to be hanging out with a gringo...fuck, we're like rock stars.

Also, one time I went to La Meyor...as I got out of the cab a street urchin approached me to hassle me for money...my driver got in his face right away and backed him off. That night I bought my driver perhaps 4 maybe 5 beers and gave him $20 for about 4-hours of work...and he drove me all over the place. Well worth it in my opinion cause the street urchin looked fucking nasty...if I were alone...I know I would have had trouble.

Alecjamer, I have been to La Greta Azul many times alone and have never had a problem. My spanish really sucks and i look very gringo.
The day time bartender at Greta Azul is a friend of mine.I am also friendly with the big black bouncer that works there.
In Panama they are so use to seeing gringos the locals don't give you a second look.
The rates at La Greta Azul and Fenix are pretty
standard, $32 and $36 for a half hour. If fact they have been the same for the last 3/4 years I have been going here.

Does anyone have the address for Fenix? I wasn't able to find the club even with the CH Panama guide & map. I asked 5 different taxistas to take me to Club Fenix or Capri Discoteque but none of them knew it.

Went there twice late Feb 2009 as the leader of a group of 5 gringos enjoying Carnaval. Here's the deal. Every taxi driver I spoke with still knows it as, "Capri". Its about 15 minutes out of town and I just can't remember the street name. This is a real 'short time' place. You get only 20 minutes to get off. The girls actually live right there inside the same building. They have 50 rooms for the them to live in. 47 rooms were rented when I asked the manager. Each room has a small closet and tiny bathroom with shower. The girls pay $200.00 USD rent a month to live there and that includes their basic utilities. They fuck you right inside their own room. The girls get paid only $10 USD for fucking a local guy and only $15.00 for a foreigner. Do the math guys! You pay $42.00. The cover charge to enter is only $3.00 and the drinks are pretty reasonable actually. Don't bother buying a girl a drink unless you need for her to stick around for a bit till you are ready to take her out back. Most of the girls can't afford to waste time and they will just come right out and ask you if you want them or not. If you hesitate, they leave to try somebody else. Can't say I blame them. We fucked there late on our second night in town still exhausted from all the travel stress. We finished up there on our last night after spending time in "Happy Times", or whatever its called, massage parlor. I paid for a double session with this very decent 24 year old Columbian chica. I needed the extra time as I had nutted only 2 hours earlier at the parlor. She told me how the economics of this place works for pillow talk while I cooled down. Kinda sad really when you think about it.

Researching for a trip to Panama City that is coming up shortly and don't have much time and looking to get the most for effort and money. Came across a plug on another website for Club La Capri and the poster stated "But for action, one should check out my favorite spot "La Capri" its a 10 minute taxi ride from Veneto but they have some nice colombianas for $40 for 20 minutes. It is a truly unique place because you session with the girls in their own bedrooms because they actually live on the quarters. Each girls room is like a studio apartment decorated like a normal bedroom, really cool!! This place is a bargain, a very unique experience with hot ass colombiana providers for a fair price." -- Wondering if anyone on here has been there since I've not seen it (or perhaps have just missed it) on here?

I was here my first night in Panama. They are open, it's just Capri now. Careful because there seems to be another place called Capri but not with chicas. You may want to clarify that's what you're looking for.

I met a gorgeous Dominican girl here, the first time I ever met one of those at Capri. There were a couple others I also liked, one of which was just drinking at a table for a long time, but she did eventually make it to the back with the guy she was with.

Capri probably offers the best value in Panama City if you don't mind the 20 minute time limit, if you want the hour, Habanos, Veneto, and Golden Time are better options.
