I am planning on spending Dec 19 through Dec 26 in Costa Rica with Jaco as my base camp for lodging purposes. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding Cabana or Bungalo style lodging close to the beach.
Thanks in Advance.

El Gringo Norte
P.S.... Expect a review of similar quality to the one I have posted inthe Brazil section.

I stayed at the Hotel Poseidon when i was in Jaco. My room did not have a TV or telephone. The hotel is between the Beatle Bar and the Disco la Central. They gave a nice resturant. They are girl friendly.I pulled a Colombian and a Nicarguan out of the Beatle bar.

Back in June, we stayed at the Poseidon too. Nice place and reasonable. We also stayed at Balcon del Mar (right on the beach). Contact info for both, www.hotel-poseidon.com and www.hotelbalcondelmar.com.

the copacabana is the best in jaco on the beach they have pool view rooms as low as $50 + is close to the beatle bar. they also have ocean front that have kitchens + two bedrooms. the manager is from california + his name is leo. there are usually chica's hanging out at the pool.

Is there a web site for the Copacabana in Jaco? Also what about fishing in Jaco? If not what is the nearest port?

unless you get set up with a costa rican with a small boat- 24 ft- outboards- your gonna have to go to the marriott marina- $950 for 8 hours- the most expensive marina in central america- its bend over gringo prices my friend.
