Cats is located at #5-27 on Calle 2 in Zone 9 between Avenida 5 and Avenida 6, a block and a half west of the Torre de Reforma, a small replica of the Eiffel tower. It's on the north side of the street in a black and white building with a neon sign displaying "Cats" and some drugged-out cat eyes.



Hours are approximately 7pm-3am Monday through Saturday. I read elsewhere they were open Sunday, but when I asked I believe I was told this was not true. This may be good to follow-up on. Supposedly you can knock at the door when they are closed and they may let you in if any of the ladies want to work. I never did this, so I cannot confirm if such is the case here.

You'll be patted down before being allowed to enter. I had to pay a cover charge, but I do not recall how much it was, probably 30Q-50Q. I was given a ticket which I was able to trade in for a beer.

Cats is a fairly large club with seating around a small bar to the right after you walk in. Past this bar ahead of you is a large stage on the right with tables and chairs all around. Past the stage area is an open area with several couches and a staircase on the left leading to short-time rooms. Beyond this is a doorway leading to a VIP area with couches, but there didn't appear to be any kind of fee to use this area, although only men accompanied by ladies or ladies by themselves were using this area. A glass door opens up to some small tables surrounding a pool outside.

On the one night I visited, I saw several attractive ladies, but I was not impressed overall with the level of talent. Most of the ladies did not appear to be highly interested in being there nor picking up customers, but I did end up with a cute and spunky lady that offered me anal.

I believe I paid 500Q or about $62US. I did not ask about takeout to the hotel. I am unaware whether the prices are set or negotiable. Most ladies I was with expected tips. My Cats lady did not ask for one, but I gave her one for exceptional service. The room was clean and well kept and had a television with porno available.

Prices for ladies drink were more reasonable here than some other bars, I think they were 50Q here or about $6US.

Pros: Large stage for shows, VIP area, Pool area
Cons: Cover, Moderate quality of selection for size

To my opinion there are better places than Cats....It used to be good a few years ago, but now I feel they do not really want to entertain you...it's something like a supermarket : take it or leave it ! However, the prices are double compared to better places like Extasis (just round the corner). Half an hour is rated from 450 Q upwards, drinks for the girls are 50 or 100. Their rooms are OK, but most of them without bathroom.

They are charging 50Q at the door but the talent here was low grade IMHO so I left.

I was recently in CATS on a Thursday night. I liked the place. There were about 15 girls and a number of them took turns doing strip shows on the stage. There was no entry charge, beer was 35Q, lady drink 100Q, half an hour was 500Q. The waiters were not real pushy with the drinks like most of the clubs in the city. I settled on a girl from Honduras for half an hour session and it was very enjoyable. The session included DFK and BBBJ. There were a number of guys in the club. Almost all lookers, very few buyers.
