This hotel is located on the east side of Avenida La Reforma just north of Calle 13 in Zona 10. I stayed in three different hotels and visited two others.
Suites Reforma was my second favorite place to stay. The architecture here was unique and beautiful, and the prices were better than Holiday Inn (appoximately $57 US with all taxes included). They have a business center with two computers with high-speed connections, but you have to pay to use them. They also have a gym and a tiny sauna.
The room I stayed in was nice but did not have a safe. They have security boxes at the front desk, but I thought the hours seemed overly limited, and no service at all was available on Sunday. One other problem with the room was the shower design which put a lot of water on the floor when opening the door. They did have a mini-fridge, but I didn't use it. I believe you need to request a key from the front desk.
The surrounding area is Zone 10, which is considered to be one of the nicest and safest parts of the city. Many restaurants, some ATMs, a bank, and a small mall are only a block or two away. Queens night club is a couple blocks away to the north. On the other side of Avenida La Reforma is Zone 9, where most of the clubs are located. This is walking distance, but safety regarding walking in Zone 9 at night is debatable.
Many of the nicer hotels are supposedly NOT guest-friendly. I have no idea if Suites Reforma is or not.
