D'Pelufo is located 3 kms from San Jose Centro, 1 km
from San Pedro Mall (Los Yoses)...it is on the north
side of the road going to Cartago and it has its own
parking lot.

Didn't have to time check out at night so can't
comment there, maybe others can.

This is a local bar that brings in young girls from the street. The beer is cheap as well as the price of admission.

You will not find any gringos there. The place is packed wall to wall with people.

At 10 pm the show starts. The girls put on lesbian shows, they insert beer bottles ect ect.

Then the guys can pay 500 colones to get a 1 minute lap dance.

The locals love it because it is cheap, but you will leave with a hard on.

You might want to check it out, but I would pass. Better value to pay 8,000 at Bar Dandy or 6,000 at Fantasy.

D'Pelufos is, in my opinion, one of the best Strip/Night Club I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The atmosphere is more like a sports bar, than a stuffy Strip Bar. D'Pelufos is located in San Pedro, 10 minutes from San Jose central, a $2 cab fare will get you there from the gulch, problem is you will not want to leave! All The women are super sexy, 8+, and extremely friendly (wink!). If you can make it there on your birthday, you will be in for the treat of your life; How would you like to be smothered, covered, and abused by 2 or 3 girls who know how to work it! You'll wish every day was your birthday. It was the best birthday present I ever got! The cover is fair (aprx. $7, with 3 drink tickets, and a raffle ticket for a free private dance or free booze. The booze priced lower than other Night CLubs in San Jose, Private dances are only 6000 Colones (Aprx. $15), money well spent. The owner, Adolfo, is there every night, and he makes a point of making sure everyone is having a good time. One thing I cannot go without mentioning is the hourly Lesbo show. Oh my god, these girls get FREAKY, beer bottles, double headed dildos in every hole, and it is not an act, you can tell these girls enjoy carpet munching. All in all, D'pelufos is an excellent establishment, comfortably priced, and some of the most beautiful girls I have seen in my life, no shit!

hey dosangst- does the strip club in san pedro have rooms so that you can bang the girls there. if so what is the price? it has been my experience in san jose that the strip clubs are big rip off joints . hollywood being the biggest rip off in the city, they pad the bills , try to double charge your credit card etc. etc.

D'Pelufos has two different stages - actually a stage and a separate pole. If you get there early, which you need to do, you can sit where you can see them both. The last time I was there a couple of girls were in the audience, and one of the strippers got her up to the pole and stripped her. I would assume that this is set up ahead of time, but they were good enough actors to make you unsure. Either way, they were both hot, and the lesbian show was great with the added extra of an unsuspecting girl getting stipped. The place is not expensive, especially compared to Babes and the others.

The place opens up around 830p and The Show starts at 10:30pm, get there early if you want a seat - otherwise it is standing room only on Friday night..

Cover charge is $3500 colones..Abour $8 and entitles you to (2) drinks..

About 7-8 women dance, rotating between two poles..Very RUSTIC seating, you sit along a wall and in the center of the floor is a pole..

At arounf midnight the girls changout into bunny suits and you can get a naked lap dance for $1000 colones, $2.50 US <--they buck you like a donkey in heat..

Private dances for 6,000 colones or $15 US

NO Sex apparently unless you were to negotiate directly with on of these ladies during a private lap dance..not sure..

almost 100% TICOS hang out here..I was one of two gringos in the bar with about 60-70 ticos..

My reliable reporters say this club is a dirty rat hole without redeeming value. They advise to avoid it at all costs. The "restroom" resembles a barnyard. Goons guard the door and take your cameras, etc.
AVOID this joint.
